Elegant, posh, yet quirky. Extremely convenient to Capitol Hill and all of the monuments nice restaurant attached Loved the decor and the staff was very pleasant.

The staff was outstanding. Great location near the Capital. Comfortable place for us to stay

Everything was great except we asked for some supplies from the front desk and it never showed up. We called down and they assured us it was coming up and it still never showed. We ended up receiving them from the front desk a few hours later when we decided to try again. It would have been nice if they just told us they were busy rather than lie to us.

We really enjoyed the George. The staff was amazing!! The rooms were a little tight, but ok. It was relatively quiet for such a busy area.

Check in was painless. The room was nicely laid out with nice furnishings. The assorted meeting rooms, mezzanine reading level and restaurant are decorous and quite functional. Service was friendly throughout the building, from the housekeeping personnel all the way through the general manager.

The Hotel was luxurious and friendly. We were able to borrow bikes from the front desk and ride around DC. It was great!

Such a warm and welcoming hotel. Great location that is convenient to Union Station and Capitol Hill. We arrived late on a Friday night after a lengthy Amtrak delay. Check in was a breeze. The gentleman at the front desk must have noticed our travel weariness, because he offered us complimentary wine. He said the hotel has a daily happy hour with free wine, but we had missed it. So, he brought out a bottle of red and a bottle of white and wished us a pleasant evening! Definitely will stay again on our next trip to DC.

I had a quick trip to DC and needed a convenient hotel for my early morning departure from Union Station. The staff was okay, not overly professional but surely they were nice and competent. The hotel is nicely decorated but it is not high end style or sophistication, just a half step beyond the average décor.

Yes. It was fabulous from the doorman to the desk personnel and the wine pourer!!

While visiting my son at Catholic University, I now have a new place to stay. Love this hotel and it's proximity to Union Station. The bathroom was beautiful and room was so stylish. Everyone was so helpful, I will be back monthly for visits..

It is OK place to stay. The location is not very easy to get in and out.

Our room was quiet and very clean and the location was near many attractions. Complementary happy hour with wine and live piano music were a nice touch. Our bathroom featured an excellent shower but the bathroom itself was very small with minimal counter space. Hotel ambiance was very nice and the staff were courteous.

Hotel was neat, clean, quiet, and the service was good. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The location was great for what we needed it for. A short walk from Union Station. Would stay there again.

We took a train from NJ to get to DC, and the GEORGE is so conveniently located, we were able to walk there in under 5 minutes. When we got there, we were so pleasantly surprised with the great service, decor and cleanliness of the hotel. They offer a free cocktail hour for the guests, which we loved! The room was spacious, and brilliantly decorated. The service is so great that if you forget some toiletries, they would supply you with them.. And they even offer to go get it for you if it's something they cannot give you on the spot. It is close to so many tourist attractions and great restaurants! We both said next time we go to DC we are staying there again.. And when we stay at other places we will look for kimptongroup hotels.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff. Great location from the museums and Union train station. Parking is ok but you can walk to a lot of the great tourist attractions there. I would stay there again!

Perfect location, very friendly and extremely helpful staff! We arrived very early, and of course we knew or room wouldn't be ready (8:30 am), but they took our luggage and we started our day. We came back at around 11:00 to get something from the suitcase and were told our room was ready! The room was newly renovated and was just perfect! The location was right near Union Station, and a 5 minute walk to Capitol Hill. Every night if you were at the hotel between 5-6 they had wine and Sangria, in the lobby. Definitely a perfect place to stay in Washington!

This hotel is located just a block or two from Union Station, which makes it perfect if you're arriving in DC via Amtrak, Megabus, or some other transportation of that sort. It is located within walking distance of Capitol Hill. There's not too much in the way of dining around the hotel, but if you walk just a few blocks and get near Chinatown, that's when you will find more dining options than you will know what to do with. There's also lots of places to choose from to eat at in Union Station. Being within walking distance of Chinatown also means you are close to the Verizon Center, where the NHL and NBA play, and concerts are held. The hotel is also within walking distance of the White House, the monuments and the museums, but it's a further hike to all these things from the hotel than to Capitol Hill. It's doable, but wear comfortable shoes. That said, the hotel is near bus and metro lines, so you're good. We were there for a concert and sight-seeing, so being near the Verizon Center, Capitol Hill, and the White House area was perfect. Wifi in the room is not complimentary, unless you're a rewards member. That's disappointing. 24/7 gym is complimentary. In-house restaurant is pricey, though maybe not for the area. Check-in/check-out was easy. Room was very comfortable. Would've been nice to have had a DVD player in the room. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to you, if you're looking for a hotel close to all the big DC sights. It was a great deal for us and we will be back.

Great location for the train station. A little far for some of the sights. Friendly staff. Great shower and water pressure.

great July 4 weekend trip to DC. Love the location of this hotel- steps from capitol building other attractions.

Nice location, great rooms, competitive pricing. Highly recoomend
