Quick and easy check in, quiet by the rooms. The layout was perfect. The bed and pillows were comfy. Check out was easy and quick as well

Very friendly helpful staff , room clean and comfortable, we had a problem with the sink wich was resolved within 10 minutes of mentioning it to the front desk . Little confusing re the parking situation... Parking is valet or you can park for cheaper off sight, negative to off sight would you pay each time if you decided to move your car during the day. We chose the on sight and was pleased Entrance to the hotel is off DuPont Circle, very small parking area to check in, can easily be missed , not a easy area to pull out on to .

Very pleasant staff. Clean, quiet, spacious room with comfortable bed. My only complaint is that the adjoining restaurant does not open for breakfast until 7:00 am, which may be too late for people in DC for business.

Not a good return on investment. No coffee at lobby as it was said

We chose the Courtyard due to its location and its available rooms - with two teens, we needed three beds, and a room with two queens and a sofa bed fit the bill perfectly. The staff were very helpful, and getting the car from valet parking was quick both times we needed it. We would return to this property.

The hotel's location is very convenient, just less than ten min walking to the white house. The services are compeletly satisfied.

I travel to DC a lot for meetings, and this hotel was one of the most conveniently located for all of my needs. Efficient front desk and comfortable room.

This hotel was perfectly located for the business meetings I had planned and checkin-checkout was a breeze. The room was spacious and well-designed.

First of all, the location of this hotel is fantastic. You are walking distance away from the National Mall, but not so close that you have tour groups and busses walking up and down the sidewalks. This hotel is in the heart of the "real" downtown, where tons of residents go shopping and to eat out. There are over 100 restaurants and coffee shops within 5 blocks of this hotel. You are right in the heart of the embassy district so all of the streets are clean, well-groomed, easy to get around. While this is a busy area, it seemed to be mostly locals instead of tourists. There were no panhandlers near this location. The hotel staff was friendly but not overly warm. The room was very spacious. Two queens AND a pull-out couch--perfect for the 3 of us. The room had mini-fridge and a microwave. The room even had 2 sinks, which is great for people getting ready at the same time! The only drawback was that the ONLY plug in the bathroom did not work, so we had to use hair dryers and such out in the sleeping area. Also, the alarm clock and half the buttons on the phone did not work. However, that was not a problem for us because we use our cell phones for that anyway. All in all, an almost perfect experience!

FOUND THE HOTEL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. SIX BLOCKS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE. CLOSE TO EXCELLENT RESTAURANTS. STAFF VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL WITH EVERY REQUEST. KIDS THOUGHT IT WAS A FIVE STAR HOTEL. RESTAURANT A LITTLE PRICEY FOR BREAKFAST FOR KIDS. KIDS SWAM IN THE INDOOR POOL EVERYDAY AND USED THE HOT TUB. OUR ROOM HAD TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND FOLD OUT SLEEPER SOFA WHICH ACCOMMODATED THE FIVE OF US VERY COMFORTABLY. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

This hotel was in a great spot and without a doubt the best value. I got a room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch for $155 a night, which is unheard of in Washington DC. The location is great because there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a few blocks and the National Mall is only about 5 blocks south, which is perfect for walking right to where all the action is. There is a valet parking fee, which I'm sure was posted on the website, but I didn't see it so I got surprised by that. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.

We had a small, but adequate room. It was towards the back, so no great view, but that kept it quiet.

A lovely site, Nice size hotel, good location for restaurants. nice pool facility.

Basic hotel in a good location. No frills. There was a lot of noise in the room though.

The hotel was clean, up to date, and well run. The attached Nage restaurant had very good food and was reasonably priced. We appreciated the free wi-fi in room and indoor swimming pool.

We selected this hotel based on location. I requested a "quiet room," but we were placed in one that faced the very busy Logan Circle ... traffic and horns honking all night is not conducive to sleeping. The fitness center is a joke, so if you like to work out, don't plan on using it - instead, get a day pass to the YMCA two blocks away. I also thought the bathroom/sink area lighting was horrendous!

The staff couldn't find the reservation at first. They said that was the fault of the online reservation service. Then I had to wait 10 minutes more before they had a room ready even though it was an hour after their check-in time. Once in the room, though, all was well. The only negative was that there was no refrigerator, but that's not a big thing. Staff was friendly enough once the check-in issue was solved.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was fine. Nothing stuck out as exceedingly good or bad. For a super-short trip like the one I took, that's a net plus.

Very nice room. Lobby renovation not quite complete but is a great improvement. I especially like the morning carry out for coffee/muffin. The Starbucks coffee provided was perfect. Staff was very nice, although I had to call twice to get an extra blanket. Waited two hours after first call, then made second request, and blanket arrived within 30 minutes. Overall, good hotel. Would recommend to others and will likely stay there again myself.

This place was a terrible representation of Marriott. First they placed me in a handicapped room that smelled like a nursing home and was very dark and dingy. I requested a different room and got a slightly better one that was not much fresher. The AC vent in the ceiling next to the bed was dripping condensation all night causing one to get splashed in the face when getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also Marriott has decided to use some stupid soap that has a big hole in the middle. It's some sort of loofa soap. Certainly not a proper soap bar for two adults.
