I thought we where getting a two king size bed room, but it was just a play on words when I read the room information. Only had one bed king size and a sofa bed, but the room was a double deluxe. Lucky my father in law didn’t join us and I ended up sleeping on the sofa and my wife and mother in law in the bed.
Liked : We liked overlooking the Brazos River. Didn't like:. The feel of an old hotel that needs updated and a swimming pool that looks Olympic sized in the pic but is actually a 4th the size shown.
The rooms were very big and the beds were comfortable. I didn’t like how dated the rooms were like the shower but it is just an old hotel but still very nice.
Great view of Baylor University. We enjoyed outdoor sitting areas.
Room was so cold and the thermostat did not seem to work; the only way to adjust the temperature was to turn the air off completely. Would have to wait hours for it to warm up and then turn air on for a little longer.
There is nothing spectacular about this property. The highlight is that it is close to shopping and food.
The bar was not open and the restaurant was closed. This was not advertised on the site where it was easily seen. Free breakfast was advertised, which was not available, due to the restaurant being closed. The Hilton Waco is too high of a price to pay without these amenities. When I tried to visit with the lady at checkout she said, “What can I do about it. Besides you booked with Expedia. Take it up with them.” I booked with Orbitz! How good was she!
Great staff. Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival.
It was nice and clean. Perfect for a quick stay. Everyone was very nice there.
Had a reservation but was told they didn’t have any rooms available.
Close to the Silos and great dining. The bed could have used new pillows, but it was comfortable.
Close to the Magnolia Silos, easy walk to the area
Very close to downtown restaurants and the Silos. Clean and spacious rooms.
Staff were fantastic and the room was very comfortable and clean.
