The hotel was nice and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved all the amenities, and the location was excellent!

Enjoyed the short stay, plan to return. Great location with access to Riverwalk. Great rates for the accommodations. Breakfast included was good, At first didn't understand all valet parking but then understood due to garage access from street folks, a big plus. Really enjoyed our stay!!!

Wonderful 35th anniversary stay! Very relaxing time. Hotel sits on the river walk, easy walking to all the eateries and shops. Beautiful setting!

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff is helpful, 3 to 7 free drinks, for kids free popcorn, and an indoor pool. Only bad thing is you have to pay for parking.

Can't wait to stay there again. Loved the ambience, the 5:30 kickback and easy access to Riverwalk.

Location was good, close to everything but really that was all this hotel had going for them. Nothing extra here. Rooms need updated, cabinets are old and need retained or replaced, they don't even close. The room smells like chlorine. The free breakfast was just average. If you are looking for a room with a balcony view that says, "Riverview "......please please, save your money! The room is over priced. I only gave it a 3 due to location and most staff were friendly.

Every staff member from manager to garage staff was friendly and helpful. Never had a question go unanswered or unresolved. The included treats such as breakfast and snacks were not particularly good and wished a restaurant was on site. But plenty were nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is perfect for venues close by. Guests are treated professionally.

Met up with a few girlfriends for a long weekend. The staff was super accommodating, friendly and professional. The hotel is a landmark experience, rich in history and tainted with style and class. I truly hope I can get back there to stay in the near future!!! The gentleman, Art at the front desk was amazing....love him.

My husband and I went to celebrate our 27th year wedding anniversary, we chose the Drury Plaza Hotel. We could not chosen a better hotel, we were greeted with smiles, when I mentioned we were here to celebrate our anniversary, we were given a free package , wine, snacks and candy. The access to the riverwalk was easy, the Cathedral show was beautiful. We were very satisfied. Will go back there, totally recommend this hotel.

Close to everyrhing. Staff was first rate and evening drinks and food were wonderful

I would have expected the hotel to have the River Walk section of their hotel to be something worth while, someplace to hang out or relax at, but....

I decided to stay at this hotel because it was across the street from the Aztec Theater. My trip was to San Antonio to see a concert at this venue. The valet and room attendants were very nice. The front desk girl was not very friendly. I liked that the building had a nostalgic vibe with an antique car in the lobby and the architecture was really interesting inside. The free breakfast was ok and the dining balcony was very clean. Great bed, HOT water, ATM inside, free breakfast, close to the River Walk. Would stay at this hotel again.

Had a wonderful stay!! We will be coming back. Clean rooms and great staff.

Perfect centralized location. Walking distance to many things. The free breakfast snd dinners, with cocktails, was a great money saver. Not gourmet food but what do you expect it was COMPLIMENTARY!!! Great stay.

Stayed here for one with with extended family. We booked the hotel since it was reasonably priced and was right on the river walk. What we didn't know and was the best feature was their 5:30 to 7:00 KICKBACK time- aka happy hour - with free food and drinks. This worked out the best for us as we were able to then have a late dinner beating the Friday night rush and had a very comfortable and relaxing time at the walk. Do have to mention that the room didn't have shower curtains - had to ask room service for it which was then quickly installed Great hotel, great location at a great price!

The Hotel is a beautiful landmark building just moments from the river walk. The staff are very friendlyand helpfull. The free breakfast and happy hour are nice as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

First of all, the location is great. In the past, we stayed on the Riverwalk in a hotel further east, toward the middle of the "horseshoe", like the Hyatt or a Marriott. Turns out, the Drury Plaza is a much better location, now that the Riverwalk goes so far north and south. From this location, it's a reasonable walk to the new Pearl area, or Southtown, or museums, the Alamo, La Villita, or the Mexican Market (all our must-do's). Second, the staff try VERY HARD to satisfy you. From Annette, the bartender at the 5:30pm cocktail hour who will size you up and custom design a cocktail just for you, to the desk clerk who took us to a hidden closet so we could pick out just the right size cardboard box to send home the Fiesta paraphernalia that we bought, to the manager who volunteered to go into the kitchen during a busy Happy Hour to check on the ingredients of the soup on the free food bar. The valet car guys were quick and friendly. The "oversized" suite we stayed in, for the price of a regular room at the Hyatt or Hilton, was huge, and came with many features we appreciated, like black-out curtains that really worked, 4 bath towels in the bathroom, and a large refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen. The room cleaners were generally good; once, we didn't get all 4 towels back; they never cleaned the soap dish on the counter; a sheet with a bloody smudge wasn't changed for a few days. Mostly, they did a fine job. Great views!

This was a great hotel. Highly recommend it. The hotel was right on the river walk and we got a terrace view facing the cathedral. There was a light show we were able to enjoy from our terrace. It was awesome!

Love love love this hotel this was my second time to stay here and it was just as good as the first time. Stayed on my birthday and they gave me some snack and a bottle of wine. Everyone is very nice and waits on you hand and foot it felt good to have to just sit and not do anything I don't get to do that very often. Thanks dury plaza hotel for a wonderful stay.
