We would stay at this hotel again. Nice staff and rooms. The valet staff was also nice and quick. Which is a nice change.

The rooms could do for a makeover and touch up work but it was a great experience because of the staff, honestly.

Pretty expensive and hiking up the rates almosy 3 times the regular rate during conventions. Pay $ 6.75 to us the computerfor 15 minutes. No breakfast included in this price either. This is not an insult or a profanity.

At first we experienced BED BUG, then we got moved to another room which was so DARK, and then the hot water broke down and I had to take shower in a frozen water.

I booked my room through Orbitz a week or so before we checked-in. I had booked a suite so I was surprised to find that when I got to my room it was a standard hotel room. I called the front desk and was told that the hotel had overbooked, but they would move us into a suite the next day, take care of our valet, and gave us some meal vouchers. I wish I had been told this when I checked in instead of having to call the front desk about it. Ultimately, I found their offer to be an agreeable solution and they were true to their word. After that initial hiccup our stay was really nice. The rooms are clean, the employees were friendly and nice, and it's in a fantastic spot downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff was outstanding in helping. Kate is the sweetest receptionist most helpful person. The manager was covering Orbitz screwup and facilitate us.

Hotel room was very clean and staff was friendly. I accidentally left my cosmetic bag on the back of the bathroom door! I ask front desk to return it, let’s hope they do!

Check-in was at 3:00pm. Got there at 3:10 and they said the room would be ready in 30 minutes. We left for an hour went up our room and the room service was still cleaning and stated it would be ready for another 30 minutes. On top of that our friends had an early check-in requested, arrived at 8:00pm and had to wait over an hour to get a room. The room itself was nice, but the overall wait to get the room was offsetting.

Lovely hotel in the heart of everything that downtown Houston has to offer. Rooms are great, clean, spacious and quiet. We use this hotel as our base for nights out when there is something going on downtown

Staff has no knowledge about parking, we were not able to get a check out receipt. Ridiculous

We where there for a Saturday night Astros game. Valet was a little tough as it was right on the front of the hotel sharing with the main flow of traffic downtown. Check in staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was nice clean everything we had expeected. The next morning I was looking for some more coffee and remember that the breakfast and restaurant where on floor 2 so went down there kinda early as everyone in the room was still asleep. And was greeted with a kinda rude "We don't open till 7" and she turned and walked away not even allowing me to ask just if there was a place I could get some coffee. On the final bill deliverd to the room there was a charge from the mini fridge that later came to find out one of the children grabbed a snickers bar out of the fridge we put it back and the fridge is a sensor charge so once an item is removed it gets charged this was a little tough to handle with little children. All in all it was a pretty good stay.

Ok...but not a four or five star hotel.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Complementary breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. Bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoe, grits and much more. I requested late check out, which was granted with a 50$ charge. This was wonderful because we had an 8pm flight. Checkout was for 4pm. Problem was cleaning staff seemed not to be informed, they knocked and tried to enter the room at least 5x after 12pm. This was very annoying as we were trying to rest before travel. Even after the do not disturb sign was placed, they continued to knock and tried to enter the room. Good thing the door had the lock on the inside. Outside of that, the stay was pleasant.

There was only one night that construction noise was a nuisance. Thereafter my stay was very peaceful and restful for all four evenings that I stayed at the hotel.

We only stayed overnight but enjoyed the happy hour and breakfast. Helpful staff clean facility

Perfect location for the business we had in downtown Houston

Staff is second to none. Awesome hotel, and the location is unbeatable. Plenty of dining and nightlife literally just 2 minutes away. Would prefer more smoking options in the bar, I like to have a cigar with my brandy in the evening.

Had a great time at the hotel. Staff was very nice. Got to enjoy the jucuzzi. After they closed the pool went down stairs to the second floor and played some pool and had some drinks from the bar. Played a little piano before we ended the night. Valet♦️Great lounge area♦️Pool♦️Jucuzzi

Hotel staff including front desk staff and valet/bell staff are awesome - far superior to Magnolia Dallas where we stayed the night before. Mostly disappointed in very small accommodations for over 300.00 per night. Very basic room, not much room to move. Rooms at Magnolia Dallas twice as large for much less per night. Perhaps just location of the hotel itself?
