Because of reviews, I struggled to find a hotel that was in a safe place and found this area to have better reviews when safety was a concern. It's in a nice location and I did feel safe going to and from the car and immediate area. The hotel is dated but very nice. The staff were all very friendly, front desk and service staff at the restaurant. We did not have to wait long for a Lyft driver to pick us up for a concert at the Toyota Center. Only items to note were areas that need some cosmetic work (wood accents outside, and tub had rust area), and the smell of marijuana in the 5th floor hall.

Don’t even waste your time staying here. After you check out there’s no assistance. I contacted accounting regarding my stay left a voicemail two week later no reply.

Best Marriott I've ever been to. 5 Star. Clean, comfortable. The staff was extraordinary. If I'm ever in Houston again, I will stay here. Keep up the good work!

Bathroom had mold in the vent

I thought the property was amazing I just did not like that I had to ask about towels, and face towels. It seems like the cleaning crew literally skipped over doors.

Hotel has no heat at all in the 20 degrees weather.
