Hotel and the room were beautiful. I got there late and the parking felt unsafe.

I liked everything, the only thing that I didn’t like was they don’t serve breakfast till 7:00am witch I think is kinda late for the early bird. Also the shower was not draining probably in the room. But other than that great breakfast was fantastic

I booked through Orbitz and paid extra for deluxe room but was disappointed when front desk said that I only have standard room. They said orbitz made a wrong advertisement. Also they don’t have extra person to answer phone calls. My companion and I wanted to go back to the hotel and I was told to call the hotel for a return transport within 3 miles radius. I called constantly for 45 minutes and no one had picked up the phone. I even talked to reservation but they were off-site and even contacted the hotel with no answer either. I spoke to the front desk “manager” and said that they were extremely busy. I told them that it is ridiculous that the phone call will not automatically transfer to other department. What a shame to this nice looking hotel with no personnel or outdated communication system.

No carts.Too many people checked in at the same time.

I was charged a $50.00 deposit, had to pay $26.00 for parking, I paid extra for breakfast and we weren't even able to find where breakfast was being served.

Very nice hotel. Staff were very inviting and helpful. I would stay here anytime I’m in Houston. It’s location was very convenient for the medical center.

Maggie at the front desk was a pleasure! Housekeeping skipped our room. We even told her we were leaving for awhile. Nancy with the Careline did send up fresh towels later.

Everyone was super helpful, clean and easily accessible from highway/ freeway. Parking is at first confusing but you get the hang of it in a day or two.

This was my first trip to Houston and The Double Tree by Hilton did not disappoint. Upon checking in you're greeted with a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. My room was a nice size with a nice view of what I would consider a courtyard view. The only issue I had was with how my bed was made. For some reason there was no flat sheet on the bottom of my bed. Self parking is pricey at $25/day and parking can be quite confusing when it comes to finding an exit. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Room was uncomfortable. It felt either hot or cold rather than simply staying at the desired temperature. The bathroom was tiny, but had a weirdly huge power room immediately outside it (made no sense). Otherwise the staff was great.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Lakewood Church & I was delighted to find out I could walk to church (easily)! Everything else was very nice, breakfast buffet was very good. Will definitely be back.

The temperature outside was in the 40's, and I was very uncomfortably cold in my hotel room. The rest of the hotel was cold, too. If I turned up the temperature in the room, nothing but cold air would come out, which made things only worse. Also, the hotel badly needs to start using, like many other hotels, a quick checkout procedure, where you can checkout from your room simply by signing a form. Having to stand in line to check out is not a pleasant experience, especially if you are under a time crunch.

I have stayed at this hotel twice, once while it was under renovation and this time. The hotel is not easy to get to for drop off or if you opt for self parking. The hotel layout seems to be truncated and it is not located walking distance from the Gallaria shops and restaurants. The staff though helpful had to be contacted in person twice and twice via phone to get erroneous charges removed from my bill. I will make sure to remove this hotel from my list of Houston properties.
