Great staff! Nice hotel. Will try out the pool next time. Connected to a food plaza on level M.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights while on a business trip. The rooms were large and very comfortable, the food from both the bar and restaurant was delicious, and I was very impressed with the great customer service - especially from the room service staff.

We came into Houston for the Guns N Roses concert at the NRG Stadium. We had an excellent experience our last stay and it was close enough to the stadium.

Great location, upscale hotel with everything you need, Starbucks in lobby, beautiful bar and lounge area, guest room very nice and comfortable beds, great price so it was perfect!

When I first pulled up to the Double Tree it was so nice . I loved staying here and the room was clean , when we pulled back the covers it had old blood on it but the immediately change the sheets . Breakfast was so good and cooked so fresh . I will be back for a visit!!!

We wish we would have had more time to stay but came into town late and had to leave early. The room was clean and the service was very good.

This hotel was awesome from top to bottom. Paying for the internet and parking was a bit of a bummer, but hey it wasn't that bad.

We reserved this hotel for ourselves and for family coming in from out of town. Everyone commented on what a great experience they had. The beds and pillows are super comfortable!! We will definitely reserve future stays at the Double Tree Hotel Greenway Plaza!!!

Nice accommodations, friendly staff but surprisingly expensive given location and amenities. Only complaint was cheap toilet paper - no excuse for hotel at this price.

The room was very nice, just remodeled. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel was still under construction. It was a bit of a maze getting through the closed areas, and the gift shop was closed--no one was able to provide help getting Tylenol considering this inconvenience. The staff originally sent us to the wrong room, which took another 30 minutes to sort out. The walls were very thin, we could hear everything happening in the room next to us including casual conversation. Maid service missed one day of cleaning, they came in at 5:45 pm shortly after we got back to the room. Lastly, parking was $18 a night and internet was $13--in the end, I feel like we could have gotten a better deal somewhere else.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a quick trip to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. My family could not have been more pleased with the hotel.

Charges extra for wifi - amazing. Staff acted like they were doing me a favor to answer any questions. Charged extra for parking since I was attending a conference AND staying in the hotel. If I was only attending the conference parking was free. Very poor signage and the directions on their website are poor. On the plus sign the food was good

South Central location, large, quiet, clean rooms, lemon water and cookies in the lobby each night after dinner and a full Starbucks make this a great place for a business traveler in South Houston. The hotel also has a nice pool and a decent gym as well as an extremely friendly and courteous concierge lounge for breakfast, snacks and desert. The only real downside is the $12.95 a day charge for internet access. Will definitely stay at this Marriott property again on next trip to Houston.

Very close to Lakewood Church and perfect if you have business in the area. Otherwise Greenway is in the middle of nowhere.

Very nice and accomodating. Shocked, however, that they don't offer free internet/wireless. They should!!

It's not bad, bit not great. The rooms and bed are quite nice, but the bathrooms are tiny an outdated. If you're not expecting much, you won't be dissapointed, but this place is not up to par with other Renaissance hotels I've stayed at. The location is also away from downtown and you have to cross the highway to reach the shopping are and restaurants. The bar lounge is nicely done, but the the food is mediocre and slow to arrive.

Very nice. The only negative is the hotel is a little bit hard to find in the greenway plaza the first time. Sort of a complex area. Otherwise a super place.

good location and good rooms. Valet parking very efficient. No fridge in the room.

Our family was there for a mini vacation during Thanksgiving. The room was smaller than expected for Renaissance. No fridge in room, no morning paper. TV was extremely small and positioned too low to ground. It also had a lot of static/interference that affected the picture. Not much room to move around in actual room. Restaurants were closed on Friday after Thanksgiving so room service only option. There just weren't any extra special things expected from that type of hotel. Customer service was far from what I've typically received at a Renaissance Hotel; they seemed to care less that you were a patron; yet the hotel was almost empty. This was consistently true from the valet to concierge to gift shop staff.

The lobby and bar are pretty cool. The rooms are fine (like any nice chain hotel but with slightly nicer finishes.) The bed left a lot to be desired. For the price, I would expect more -- comfort, quiet, space. But the location can't be beat if you have an early morning meeting in the Greenway Plaza area.
