I called this hotel directly to make sure my room was made allergy-free as I am allergic to feathers. They said they would make sure this happens before my arrival. I checked-in to the hotel and asked them to make sure my room was feather-free once again. He ensured that it was. I got to my room, dust on the counter, desk, and phone (very visible) as if no one stayed in the room for weeks. I shower, the drain was clogged. I get out the shower, pull back the sheets and find that the feathers have not been removed. I told front desk about this at check-out. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do because it was booked through a third-party. Will I stay at this hotel again? No, definitely not worth the money!

Was slow it could of been a lot faster took 30 mins to get my truck after I was told 10mins

Loved that they had shuttle service to and from the ball park. A big plus.

Came to this hotel for a couple days over July 4th. The hotels lobby is nice and clean, however, when it comes to the hotels rooms it's a different story. The room we initially were given was ok but it had some issues. The bathroom was not clean well, the tub was nasty and needed cleaning. The carpet in our room looked like it was 20 yrs old and needed to be changed. After we asked to be moved to another room at the front desk though, it was taken care of right away. We got another room and it was cleaner, the carpet was still disgusting but atleast the bathroom was clean. Also bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, good place, we had a good time overall. Also for the price: 130/night with breakfast included and a sweet location it made sense.

Convenient downtown location and tunnel access, large room and good wi-if.

3 days - 2 nights. No problems with anything or anyone.

Will stay there again every thanksgiving eve to see the parade on thanksgiving. Morning

We walked in the hotel after valet parking for the first time and found the front desk quickly! The staff was exceptionally respectful and courteous! They allowed us to call for room service from the front desk because we had 10 minutes before it closed. The hotel is very impressive when you walk in. Our stay was great!

We wanted a hotel room to avoid the 50 mile drive back home after attending a concert in downtown Houston. We had planned to eat at the hotel after the concert. Unfortunately Spindletop closed at 10 pm on Friday night. I know Houston isn't Vegas, but it seemed a bit early. So we did the hotel bar/grill. Typically pricey without the ambiance. The $35 valet parking also seemed a little steep. Glad we got a great rate for the room but spending 1/3 of that on parking and half of that on 2 burgers and dr pepper pretty much killed the wow factor.

One counter person. Took 20 minutes to get checked in. After being in room for a while, I noticed carpet wet next to bed. I thought maybe from shampoo. Later we determined the prior occupant had vomited and tried to clean up. We noticed drops crossing the room to trash can. We had unpacked and would be too difficult to change rooms. I just stepped around the area. Very inconvenient.

I stayed here for a short business trip. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff very help. The Shula's Restaurant was very very good.

Hotel was very nice. They offer weekend free transportation to local area.

This hotel is great, restaurant, pool, etc. The only complaint I have is that they make the desks too high! Please cut the legs shorter!

We had a great stay. The room was very nice with a great view of downtown. Hotel staff were nice and very helpful when asked questions about hotel and directions around town. We had a nice relaxing dinner at the spindletop for my girl friend's birthday. Later I proposed to her. Wouldn't change anything it was perfect.

We stayed one night. Everything was fine until Sunday morning when my friend went to use the shower and noticed there was open shampoo bottles and soap containers. Clearly the bathroom hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. Also the fridge didn't work so all of the stuff we put in it was warm by the next day. I had a much better experience at the hyatt regency in Austin.

We stay there for a wedding. Good hotel with great location. Bed was comfortable and service was awesome.

It is a good choice for downtown of Houston. Close to a lot of good dinning places.

This is my second time staying at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston and it was amazing! The staff is always wonderful, from the concierge, a wonderful woman by the name of Sheila to their class act Bartender Agustin. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown and very close to the midtown district where the top bars and restaurants are located. The hotel is also a few blocks from the Metro-Rail which takes you all the way down to the museum district and medical center to explore. The hotel also has two amazing restaurants, my favorite being the Spindletop which rotates while you dine and gives you a full view of the city I gave this hotel nothing but 5's and I mean them all. Great place and the price is right.

Great staff, great bar, great room, great restaurant and great value. Easy walk to the tram. Went for the LSU vs Wisconsin football game. Easy travel to the stadium. Will stay again.

In house restaurants were great. Staff is very courteous. Shuttle bus is a +.
