Lady at the front desk was so rude and disrespectful her name was Rocio completely entitled and seemed to hate her job. We had breakfast vouchers and she didn’t explain to us how they worked kept rolling her eyes and responding in a condescending manner. Random hairs all over the room, and smelled of humidity Will not be staying here again

Good if you are looking for a low priced hotel that is clean. But, if you are looking for a nicer hotel with a full restaurant and coffee shop, pay the extra and go for Hilton or Hotel Indigo. That is what we will do next time. Bed was made up poorly with sheets on the wrong way. In a double room there should be two chairs and the lighting should allow for a smaller more discreet option in the bath area for middle of the night curtesy for traveling companions. Ice machine on floor was broke.

The property was well kept and staff was attentive and courteous. The only one thing and I realize they are trying to revitalize that area is that it didnt seem too safe for those places that were with in walking distance. Other than that one draw back all the things we were interested in were no more than a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
Visit to the Dr. Pepper museum.

Location is not good

Neighborhood is very run-down. The drive to the hotel from the Magnolia are has boarded up business after boarded up business. Numerous abandoned businesses and structures. I was surprised at the location.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The housing project across the street, homeless people walking around and yelling at my daughter, and boarded up convenience store across the street made this a “never staying there again” property. The second night I was there, I was awakened by a gunshot that sounded louder a very large caliber weapon. I was just about to fall back asleep when it happened again. Definitely not a good location for a hotel.

This is near the end of the hotel parking lot. The stairwell opens up to this street. I saw lots of “activity” around this place at night.
