We paid for a partial oceanview room. Room #224- next door, room 225 apparently they were doing construction until 9:30 pm. Machinery, saws, hammering??? We called the front desk for a possible room change, they were unhappy about the complaint and offered to move us. We stayed anyways and left at 5:30 AM.

The view and location were perfect. I called and asked for more coffee and they responded very quickly. Our safe didn’t work and the door leading to the stairwell was rotted and open The rooms were nice Definitely needed a new mattress.

Property nice location, but needs some maintenance and tlc. Property is old and dated, parking lot has weeds and grass growing out of asphalt and concrete. Hotel has some cracks on exterior walls. Please take some of the room rate you are charging guests and put back into hotel.

It's just that it's old and needs renovating. Traveling from PA to FL and stayed at 2 other hotels that were much nicer. Tybee is ok but just n t as nice as others.

Friendly staff, easy parking, lots of extras (2 pools, Tiki bar, great location to walk to just about everything).

This property needs to be shut down. I really can’t believe this property is located in a 1st world country. The carpets are ripped and dingy, there is dirt everywhere. They were flies in our room and rust and mold everywhere. Last but not least l, that awful smell. I ended leaving after the first night, I only stayed there that night because I was traveling from 4 hours away. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever set foot in.

old hotel needs help. pools are out dated and the free drinks are only for canned drinks or 1 well drink the front desk person said they're good for anything. The room was eh. the carpet was dirty, trash on the patio, stained patio, rusted lamps and fixtures in room, stained shower curtt, hair in tub, stained tub, failing ceiling texture, failing drywall around sliding door, sliding door lock broke, front lobby door not secure, emergency exit to stairs door is bent, fridge was dirty, main dresser door didn't close, missing remote battery cover, no turn down service or new towels. I would suggest having a towel station on each floor for guest.

From the moment we entered the property, we were highly disappointed. The entire property has not been maintained and is quite filthy. As soon as we entered the door, there was trash, beer and beer bottles on the floor in front of the elevators. It remained there for the rest of our trip. To our shock, once we got to our room (after midnight), our door was unlocked and propped open. I called (from my cell phone bc the room phone did not work) to be sure we were in the correct room and was told “that’s not unusual right now due to Covid”. Leaving a room insecure is a HUGE liability and safety concern. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told the previous guests were smokers and the must not have sprayed enough cleaning spray to cover the smell. However, the property is supposed to be smoke-free. There were cigarette wrappers, trash and a powdery, white substance on the floors and bed. There was also hair ALL over the bed linens and pillows. There is no way our room had been cleaned. The gentleman explained that they were unable to find good employees right now and we very short staffed. He met us at our room to escort us to another room. It was a bit more clean but the ceiling had holes, the phone also did not work and there was mildew in the bathroom, and there was hair on the sheets and pillows in this room, as well. I told him if we could just get a change of fresh linens, we would be fine. He brought us clean sheets and at 1:00AM, my husband and I changed hotel sheet

Rooms have not been updated, property is dirty, trash everywhere. Very disappointed.

The location was great. The refrigerator was iced up so we hat to email ty the pan witch wasn’t a bad g deal. The air conditioning was licking water but not the balcony but no one had cleaned it up so mildew and miss was growing on the balcony.

Our room had so much humidity that everything was wet. Room was clean but bathroom had a sewer smell.

Great ocean access. The hotel itself is old needs a lot of renovations, not very clean ice machines are old and very dirty wouldn’t use them no vending machine had to always go to registration office to get any snacks or drinks garbage at front entrance wasn’t emptied for two days. Not sure I would stay again here

Pretty much on the water (wasn't expecting from the pictures a small parking lot between hotel and beach) but otherwise nice (but dated) property.

Prime location to everything. No driving required because everything was withing walking distance. Very nice to be able to walk to the gift shop, restaurants, grocery store and the pier. Definetly will be coming back here to stay again.

Excellent location, easy access to the beach, and had pool access as well. Felt overcharged for the room I booked. The fridge didn’t work, there was a bug issue in first room then they switched me to another that still had beetle bugs in. Staff was excellent but the hotel should re-evaluate their rates.

Overall nice place to stay. There is a small public parking lot between the hotel and the beach. The staff and tiki bar staff were very friendly. Nice pool

Oceanfront view was nice. However, reception charged my card twice.

Thank you for vacationing on Tybee Island and staying with us. I'm very sorry for the noise you experienced. To say we are confused is an understatement. We only have one improvement, new roof going on our registration building, and it doesn't impact our guests. Again very sorry that any noise impacted you stay. Hope to see you in the future. If you reach out to me directly, I'll be sure to get you the most quiet room possible. Until next time...safe travels.

We are constantly renovating our hotel, and mattresses are constantly being replaced. But it's really the views and dining that makes a Tybee perfect vacation every time.
