The room was not cleaned well. When we arrived, there was still dirt and trash all around the bed platforms and behind all furniture. We did not want housekeeping, however we did not have signage to put on door to refuse. The “ocean view” that extra money, was a view of the back parking lot and sand dunes, that’s false advertising and not worth the money for an ocean view room. The hotel location was great, very close to the pier, restaurants, convenient stores and gift shops. It’s clear that the hotel needs a definite update. Overall, 3 stars for the two days we stayed.

The location is exceptionally convenient, as all amenities are easily accessible by walking. However, there was not much interaction with the staff. The room itself was comfortable.

Convenient to the beach but VERY beat up. Needs lots of updates that would help with overall cleanliness. Bed was comfortable & there were no bugs, just beat up floors, walls, bathroom fixtures.

We loved the beach! The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and we felt safe! The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, this is a public access beach, so it’s very crowded. We also had to smell A LOT of pot/weed smoking at the beach, in the public parking lot behind the hotel, on the pier, and in the hotel elevator. It was so strong it gave us a headache. And it was for the duration of the whole trip. I know the hotel can’t control what happens at the public access beach, but maybe get some cops to patrol the beach/area a little more. Also, nearby Savannah was sketchy and no longer the beautiful, historical place I remember. Other than that, we loved the beach and the hotel.

Location is excellent. Check in was easy, and the woman was very nice. Our room had complimentary beach chairs, and towels, which was VERY convenient as we flew into Georgia and couldn't bring chairs with us. They also offered bicycles we could use around town. Beds were comfy and the building/room were clean. Rooms do seem to have a dampness issue (Floor always felt wet, and bathroom had some rust) but we definitely appreciated that the room had a refrigerator AND microwave! We only visited one of the two pools, but it was very clean and nice! We would definitely stay here again

We got a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. Because of that they gave us a better room and let us check in early! We were very pleased and would definately go back!
