We were only here for a few hours on a layover to another flight. The service at the front desk was quick and easy. Very friendly! Bathroom was small! Room was a decent size. Always enjoy the Sheratons linens! We took the shuttle to the airport it was filled to capacity. But was prompt!
We stayed here 2 nights on either side of our trip and leveraged the parking and shuttle to/from the airport. I would say it was average... the location is good and the shuttle timing was dependable. The shuttle was also larger so many bags and people could fit. The room was ok -- a bit stuffy and the bathroom was very tight (little counter space and small layout). There was some plane noise, but that didn't really bother me and is expected at a location like this. Didn't get caffeinated coffee packet in the room so went to lobby hoping they would have complimentary coffee. They had coffee on the bar, but they charged for it -- was over $6 for 2 cups of plain coffee. The parking area is large, but outside/open and didn't seen surveyed. It was fine, but I will try something else next time to see if I find something better.
Stayed here for one night before a flight out of YYZ. Hotel is very average, but has the loudest sheets ever, whenever someone rolled over, everyone woke up. Some noise from planes, but not too bad. Useful for extended parking combo, but note that parking is outside in a lot, not a garage.
Stayed here for a few nights on business. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shuttle service - I called and was told the shuttle would arrive to pick me up at the terminal in 10min. 20min later it was still not there so when I called again, they said again he'd be there in 10min. I couldn't wait has I had a meeting so I had to take a cab. The hotel staff however met me at the door and covered the cost of the cab, so kudos to them. But the shuttle driver needs to be spoken to, I think he was probably out to coffee rather than doing his run! Aside from that, the room was nice, clean, comfortable. This was my second time here, and I'd stay here again.
Spending two nights here on a transit we have a very good time. There is a small indoor pool and a good restaurant with friendly staff. The beds are very, very comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise from any planes during nighttime.
Had the chance to stay at the Sheraton during a quick one day business trip up to Toronto and found it quite accommodating. Great business services on site, really nice restaurant with plenty a room for private meetings, and well accommodated rooms make this a great stop over location for the in and out business traveler. Restaurant downstairs actually serves some really good food as well.
The hotel staff are excellent as always. The rooms could use a makeover as the paint on the tubs needs to be refreshed. The beds are awful. New beds would be a must in any renovation. Gym needs new equipment all of the treadmills are broken and there were no wipes to clean the equipment after your workout.
We stayed at the Sheraton, Dixon Rd. prior to our flight to St Lucia. The on site free parking was a bonus. None of that taking your vehicle to some field and getting a shuttle from and to the hotel for the night. The rooms were well appointed, quiet and extremely comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the Olio restaurant in the hotel. Great food, reasonably priced.
After news of a family emergency, we hurriedly travelled to Toronto on our way to an international destination. Tired, and overcome with emotion, we came to rest at the Sheraton in between flights. Anna at the front desk, and the manager, Josie were more than accommodating and understanding of our needs. The hotel atmosphere is lively, yet peaceful with all its open, light-allowing spaces, the front desk staff friendly and efficient, and the rooms very comfortable. Thank you, Sheraton.
Had to spend a night in Toronto due to flight schedule. Picked the hotel because it is close to the airport and they provide shuttle service. Good size clean rooms with comfortable big beds. The areaa around the hotel offers nothing to see or do what so ever. So if you are here to see Toronto this is not your place, but for airport access it is great.
