The room was clean and the front desk staff were very polite and helpful. However the people working downstairs at breakfast area were not friendly at all. The breakfast was expensive with a very limited menu. The waiters gave us attitude if we asked for more cream or sugar. They wouldn’t even offer a toast with their breakfast. We had to pay $10 for four slices of toasts!!!! That was the worst and at the same time the most expensive breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel.
Hotel bartenders kinda sucked, they looked like they hated their lives and don’t get me wrong I hate mine but they seemed to hate theirs more
Loved the fitness center, which had great machines and weights, and the location—central to everything.
Overall great hotel, however, does not really rate the additional cost over other hotels offering similar amenities.
Location was good. Central to downtown hot spots. Staff was very nice
I was booked into room 1144 (at the Hyatt Toronto Downtown), I assume my complaint applies to all rooms on the ##44 line. The bathroom felt like standing in a 2’x2’ space. Getting in/out of the shower or using the sink usually resulted in bumping into the toilet. It was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. I notified the front desk immediately and was met with smiles and thanks for the feedback—nothing was done to resolve the situation or compensation us for the discomfort. The front desk staff was horrible. At times I witnessed and experienced the front desk staff engaging in conversation while myself and others waited for their assistance. I travel frequently and have never experienced such a poorly designed room. I spent several minutes in search of a room safe, when I discovered it on the floor of the closet. You would have to lay on the floor to us it. The only bright side to this situation was that my booking was for 3 nights. If it was any longer I would have stood in the lobby inviting guest to visit the smallest bathroom in the hotel. Maybe that would have resulted in getting their attention.
The place is short distance to attractions. The room is great & have all what we need.
Nice hotel very convenient. Clean. Quick elevators. Lots of plugs on desk but not next to bed. Very Comfy bed. Let me check in early which was nice. Had slippers but no robe. Lighting in bathroom coukd be brighter. Two bottles of water and fridge which is nice. Towels are good size. Quiet room despite being in busy area. Good if you are going to a baseball game. Five minute walk to Rogers
L'endroit est excellent. Par contre uniquement saisonnière. Petit déjeuner mauvais et très chère
