DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown

3.5 out of 5.0

Except for the parking space, -extremely small and expensive ($35 usd per night), I would recommend it. Room very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom, and staff always courteous, supportive, and helpful. Highly satisfy with the service. Like to visit it again.

Nice, clean and staff were very nice ! Location was great. Totally worth it. But no breakfast was included ;( But Starbucks 1 block away

We recently stayed at the hotel for a 4 night stay. Our room was quite tiny (we had a corner room) and difficult to navigate through tight aisle spaces, especially with 2 people walking past each other. My biggest issue with the room was it was right next to the elevators and the ice machine....very noisy in the room when either were being used!!!! The location of the hotel is very central making it easy to get around to many different neighborhoods of the city.

Great hotel, everything about it was excellent - location, staff and quality/comfort of room. The only downside is the wifi - unusable at peak times which was frustrating.

Clean and modern, this hotel was perfectly functional and predictable. Staff were consistently friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good. This is a large hotel with A LOT of guests so the elevators were always slow, but as I was on vacation, I was never in a big rush. The location was central with the subway nearby and trolley at the corner. Just wish there were some interesting cocktail bars nearby or live music within walking distance. The hotel bar was more business people than anything else. Otherwise, a nice stay.

We came for my birthday/Caribana/Drake concert. The Queen bed seems smaller than other queen beds I've slept in & there was a rather significant dip in the middle of the bed. So I can't say we had a very good sleep. I asked for a King bed but they didn't have any available. The temperature in the room basically went from freezing to muggy. The rooms are small. When we checked in the front desk clerk said there would be police in the lobby during the weekend we stayed-I thought that was odd. I don't know if they usually have police around on busy weekends or what, but it's not something that I'm used to in hotels. I don't think the area was bad so I'm not totally sure why there needed to be armed police in the lobby and in front of the hotel. The staff was nice-the welcome cookies were a delight. The hotel is centrally located and a quick walk to just about all of the downtown sites. Great little mini mart downstairs. Would probably recommend for brief stays.

Very comfortable hotel within walking distance of the main attractions, shopping, public transportation. Nothing fancy but recommended.

The staff was extremely helpful , they were very friendly .

Very convenient, good breakfast, good location. Cabs always waiting on the curb by the enterence

Arrrived mid-morning and was able to park and check in. Walked to Chinatown, university of Toronto, Youge street....all was so very convenient. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We walked to it from the train station, easy to get to. Very central to downtown. The staff was exceptional and very helpful. Great value for the money.

Very good experience in Double Tree by Hilton Totonto. Service like 5 star hotel.

Great place to stay, especially if you are in Toronto for a baseball game

Chose this hotel mostly because of its convenient location.

Beautiful hotel minutes from subway and Eaton center, and great restaurants. Breakfast buffet was amazing. I stay at Marriotts exclusively for business travel 9~50 nights per year), and this was better than most of those stays.

yes they did a good job and were very gracoiusand helpful and knowledgable

conveniently located, easy to access, good comfort, clean, welcoming.

We had an amazing view of the CN tower and downtown in a corner room on the 22nd floor. That was definitely the best part. Room was small. Elevator ding was loud and we could hear it all night. We also had very noisy neighbors that eventually got kicked out and sent to a hospital because they were bleeding from breaking things in room. Blood remained on carpet by elevator and in elevator for the entirety of our stay, even after we informed staff. Never received an apology or anything. Parking is expensive at $29 per day.

I think that this hotel was great for my boyfriend and I to get away for a quick weekend. The hotel was great and convenient to downtown Toronto, close to the subway system, and a lovely stay.

Everytime I come from NY to Toronto, I stay here because of the amazing staff and cleanliness. The cookies they also give you are perfection!
