I was at this hotel for 45 days from august to end of september 2017. Business trip with 15 other collegue. First the lobby staff was amazing, always a smile and ready to answer your question. The breakfast staff was also amazing. Room cleanin was ok. The breakfast are amazing with eggs and meat, lots of fresh fruits and some pastry. It is really close to the the airport and a nice place for planespotting. They have a nice kitchen to make your own food. I would return there without hesitation.
Decent property which requires TLC. Staff is good as well morning breakfast. Few restaurants may be close by.. Moxie's restaurant is 5 mins walk. Otherwise, its typical Airport Hotel with Shuttle Service. Ride Share will cost you CAD $12-20
It was a quick stay at Residence Inn, the staff was wonderful and they had a many choices for breakfast in the morning. However the hotel is dated and is in need of an renovation. Which I heard they will get one shortly.
Good airport hotel with all the requirements I'm looking for. Very friendly service as they know the area well, lots of restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are equipped with a kitchen and the amazing part is they are providing me with pots and utencils. I wish there was covered parking for a snow day.
awesome staff, good suite space but needs some renovating. We will stay again though as I still love this hotel. It is a popular hotel I think, because they seem to be full frequently. Always my first choice when in TO.
Friendly service, decent continental breakfast, free food each evening that I was there (pulled pork one night and samosas the next). The rooms were dated though and had a faint smell of smoke making my review just average. There's a few restaurants around - Moxies is a 2 minute walk down the road.
I have stayed here many times and normally it is good. This time poor front desk service with attitude. The front desk clerk, knowing that I was a platinum member, stated" If you don't like paying $14.00 per night for parking can look somewhere else". I reminded him that this is no way to treat a Marriott member and went to the room. Also my Senior's rate was $265.00 a night, guaranteed the best rate since I had booked on line. I found that other people were paying $195.00 a night as a Show rate. When I arrived in my room the clerk called to sat that they would wave the $14.00 rate. He could have done that when I checked in instead of the attitude, stay somewhere else. These are not $265.00 a night rooms as a a special rate. The room was well worn. The front desk called and allowed me my last night of 4 to be at the $195.00 rate. Why not them all. Disappointing to say the least. This will be my last stay here.
It's a wonderful feeling to visit this hotel again after a period of time! Bedding was spotless, nice smelling room. Suggesting that the management should be more selective in putting up high quality decors for Christmas. It looked like everything hanging was DIY, I didn't mind seeing it, but sometimes I'd expect a touch of elegance at the hotel entrance. Will keep coming back!
I was booked by an airline to overnight in this hotel, the rooms are clan and the overall condition of the hotel is above average. The hotel provides breakfast buffet with very limited choices. The front desk is not friendly and they lack problem solving skills. The airlines assured me that I will have a late check out but the hotel literally kicked me out of the room at noon. I would never stay in this place if I had a choice.
