We had a Park n’ Fly package at the Residence Inn for our recent Caribbean vacation. We had a two bedroom suite and were amazed at the size and comfort. Loved the gas fireplace! Due to our flight time we were not able to enjoy the breakfast but the breakfast room looked very nice. The 24 hour shuttle service is a great convenience. Would definitely recommend this hotel for it’s service, price and convenience.
Was disappointed upon arrival at this Marriott hotel. As one who uses his Marriott rewards and typically only stays at Marriott properties, I was rather disappointed. Upon arrival looks very old and tired. Hallways and entrance are small. Room is small. One bedroom King bed. Front staff often were busy doing something out of sight from the front desk. My request on my mobile app was not done. Too late at night so I did without. Sleep was okay. Room was clean. Something I’d expect from a category 1 or 2 hotel from Marriott and not a category 4. Next time it’ll be the Airport Marriott or the Courtyard Airport.
Very nice hotel and good standard in the small apartments. Very clean and nice interior. The people at the reception are very kindly and helpful. My warmest recommendations. The breakfast is wide and at a nice standard.
While traveling on business we stayed here as it was close to where our company meeting was. Check in was great and the front desk staff welcomed you with a smile and were always accommodating. The bedroom suite was nice but a bit dated and you could see wear and tear in the rooms, hallways. The kitchen was very handy with large fridge, microwave, utensils, plates, and coffee maker. We didn't use much for one night but would certainly come in handy for those travelling for a longer period of time. The price point was a bit high we felt for that area plus the extra cost in parking too. The breakfast was good and offered a variety. The staff were also helpful. Overall it was a nice stay and would return if I need to book in that area again.
The staff was amazing! The front desk was helpful in answering all our questions and they were very accommodating. They offered our team our own conference room so we had a place for us to all hang out. We have stayed in MANY hotels for hockey tournaments and have always had problems or complaints from the staff until this weekend. Instead of getting upset with our boys for being boys, one staff member in particular (Cecelia) stopped what she was doing to joke around with them and talk to them. That was very much appreciated. They respected her and thought she was "funny". The rooms were clean, the free breakfast was great and the hotel as a whole was well taken care of. We will definitely be back!
We stayed here for 2 nights. Parking was an extra $15 per night I believe. Check in was reasonably quick. The suite was quite large, it having a good sized living room/full kitchen area. Full fridge with ice maker and a full stove with oven. Also there was a Keurig coffemaker and they provided several pods with sugar etc which was nice as we arrived quite late. The bedroom was a little small but fine with an ensuite bathroom. It would be helpful if there was a door/curtain separating the bathroom area from the bedroom as the lights were quite bright when using the sink and would wake up anyone in the bedroom. Comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was actually very good. The staff replenished things very quickly even when it was over crowded. If some thing was missing and you asked, they responded really quickly. The food was really quite good. Our only issue was on our check in night, there were about 4 or 5 people drinking (beer) and smoking up by a bench outside the hotel next to the parking lot and our car. When I advised the front desk, he said he would deal with it. When I went back to my car about an hour later, the same group was still drinking and smoking up. I actually responded to a survey sent to me by this hotel and advised them of this weeks ago. I have not yet heard back.
This Residence Inn is the most dated one I have ever stayed in. I was in one about 11 years ago and it looked much new and nicer than this one. It is very clean and has decent room, but for the money I would rather have spent the little extra to be at the Sandman Hotel right next door. The Sandman also has a nice restaurant as well. I stayed there last year and loved it. You know where I will be next year at this time.
I recently stayed at this hotel for work, I booked a suite with a king bed. I was presently surprised with the room. The room contained a decent living area and a full fridge and cook top with a sink and dishwasher. The bedroom was nice with a good sized sink and toilet / shower. The room was quite which I was very surprised with considering the volume of planes flying overhead. The staff were very friendly, all the staff which was very nice and made my stay much more enjoyable. They serve a good full breakfast, Eggs, protein, cheese, fruit, breads, cereals, waffles and Coffee/Tea and Juice. My only complaint was the exercise room the Treadmill I used sounded like it was going to come apart it was rattling so bad. If you eat out in the near vicinity I would not sit on a patio, we did this and when a plane is flying over you can not hear one another. The flight path is directly over the hotel and the planes seemed to be coming in every couple of minutes and they are low to the ground. Bottom line I would stay here again.
Parked my car here before flying off to Calgary, then back to hotel after a week, in late to the airport and spent the night at the hotel. Free shuttle service to and from the airport. Also free breakfast after stay in hotel. All in all worked out very well. Room was clean and quiet. Then beds were a little on the firm side for me but still slept ok. Would stay here again.
we were travelling internationally w/animals and excessive luggage; hotel takes both dogs and cats (no charge for service animal, but there is a fee otherwise); rooms adequately equipped for a multiple night stay (we were there 2 nights) w/kitchen facilities and gear; decent and free breakfast; shuttle to nearby airport; food outlets w/in walking distance which also accepted service dog w/o question; only downside is that the hotel is directly under the primary outgoing flight path from the airport--noisy, especially when outside walking the dog but acceptable indoors; hotel has spare accommodations in lobby, but so what?
