Comfort Inn Airport West2.5 out of 5.0

The front desk staff and the manager were fantastic - booking and checking in process was easy because of them. The rooms are quite small, especially if you're a family of 4 and staying the night before flying out (partly because there's a wardrobe instead of built in closets) with suitcases. Rooms are updated, but ours had the previous guests used cups and something spilled down the wall. Something else that is important to know - the shuttle to the airport has to be booked 2 hours in advance, and only leaves once per hour - at 5:40 am, 6:40 am, etc. We needed a shuttle that fell halfway in between those times so ended up taking an Uber ($30 to get a van to accommodate luggage) and letting our kids sleep the extra half hour. Next time we would just drive from home, knowing how the shuttle works, or stay at a hotel that has shuttles on demand. We had a bit of an issue with the pick up at the airport as well. We were told not to call until we were at the post (which is way at the other end of the terminal from where we pick up luggage), so we called then - waited on the phone for 15 min before talking to someone. They indicated it would be a 20 min wait. The driver showed up, but then we were waiting for other people for another 10 min (not a big deal), except some of them never showed up so we left....and it turned out the people we did wait for weren't even staying at the hotel - they were going to book another one but this shuttle got them close to where they wanted to go. By then it had been over an hour since we landed and retrieved our luggage and called for a shuttle ride, so it made for a very long night. Processes at other places have always been much quicker turn around so I would likely use a different one next time around. Breakfast isn't served until 7 am on weekdays, so it wasn't available to us before we left. Most of the other hotels have breakfast starting at 6 am so that you're able to grab a bite before heading out.
we often stay here as we sometimes go out in Mississauga and sometimes we are flying into and out of Pearson. this stay was a Saturday night so there was more noise then normal, if only people would respect the after 11pm and before 8am quiet rule all would be good.
My husband and I went to this hotel last night when the power in our neighbourhood went out and we were, understandably, given no timeline as to when we would have power again. We live on the 14th floor and I suffer from arthritis, so doing the stairs was not an option for us. We arrived at this hotel with no reservation on a very busy night for them. The manager on duty, Lucky, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. He gave us the very last room and was wonderful to deal with. Even though we were tired and exhausted, we were smiling by the time we went to bed. The room was wonderful and we both slept like babies. My husband and I believe God was watching over us and led us to this hotel, as initially we were going to go to a different hotel but it was too busy when we pulled up. The parking lot for this hotel was full, but the manager bent over backwards to assist us in our time of need. We will forever be grateful for this hotel and, more specifically, for a manager that took the time to help us out.
Great hotel and staff! Rooms are clean and continental breakfast is very tasty. Got taken care of by the manager named Lucky who is very nice. I recommend it! Also a few restaurants right next to it included McDonalds accros the street.
We stayed 2 nights before a flight out and week vacation. We had a trailer connected to our truck and left it for a week. They went above and beyond in customer service from check in to placement of the vehicle. The parking lot is large with easy access and well designed for larger vehicles and has full camera surveillance. The rooms are nicely updated. Coffee in front lobby as well as computer access for the guests. Shuttle service to airport. Restaurant attached to the hotel with great food. The back part of the hotel has been transformed into nice open space with tables and green space....great for right in the big city.
As every business traveller knows a great hotel is a gem to find. I didn’t expect to find the level of customer service I did tonight when I pulled in. The owners of this hotel are Lucky to have Lucky. He’s a customer service rock star.
Stayed the night before our flight and parked our vehicle for nine days. Hotel room was modern and clean. It was nice to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. Hotel staff were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Check in and out were seamless. Shuttle was great and on time. We only waited fifteen minutes for the shuttle at the airport upon our return. The shuttle driver was professional, friendly and a great driver. Parking lot is well maintained and well lit. Vehicle was exactly as we left it. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience!
I chose to book a room at this hotel because we had a wedding to attend and the reception hall was right behind it.. It was perfect. The room was comfortable, the heat worked wonderfully in the room -we had an ice storm this weekend so the proximity to the venue was fantastic. We could have potentially walked if the weather allowed us to. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, the beds were comfortable and warm. I didn't care about amenities because that's not why we were there. We did however, receive breakfast in the morning with our room. Not a restaurant so it wasn't made to order and was a little cold, but still better than nothing considering we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. We were also a bit late coming down for breakfast so I'm sure if we came down sooner the food would be been fresher and warmer. They do have a variety though which is nice. Check in and check out was quick and efficient and the staff we encountered were friendly. good value
