Great breakfast and location. Clean and comfortable. Great staff. Well appointed. Characters at breakfast a nice touch. Even better if - fridge in my room didn't make gurgling noise all night and fitness room had free weights and a working treadmill.

My experience was very good. Parking was in the overload lot across the street, but you have to take into consideration that we're in the city, right in the historic district, and parking is at a premium. So I was grateful for parking. The room was very, very comfortable. I stay in Hamptons a lot, and I'm giving this one the Three Bears award for most comfortable mattress and pillows! I went out like a light, had a great sleep. The hotel itself is old, historic (very well maintained) In my room the ceilings were about 10 feet high. The furniture and décor in the common areas is tasteful and decorated in-period. The hotel seemed pretty full, the dining area was busy in the a.m. The staff was particularly helpful, giving me a map of Savannah and pointing out some sights I wouldn't want to miss. Overall a very nice, pleasant stay

Staff was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable, Ice water and lemonade in the lobby was refreshing. Also cookies and coffee in the lobby was wonderful as well as breakfast in the morning.Great hotel to stay at while visiting Savannah.

Good location within easy walk of historic district and riverfront Staff was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Love Savannah and always wanted to stay at this hotel. On the way home from a funeral up north, we reserved a room just to stay one night. We had such a great experience we stayed an additional night.

From arrival to departure, a fantastic stay. Great staff, wonderful room, and close to everything!

Staff was excellent! Super friendly and kind! Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet seemed to be a hit! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

the staff very helpful, wonderful comfortable room.

The hotel looks out on downtown Savannah (the edge of it). The rooms were lovely, quiet, very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful too, and I loved looking over the park as we ate. Glad I splurged.

There was considerable cigarette smoke from smoking rooms nearby, that bothered me a lot as a non-smoker. I will not book this hotel again.

Stopped for one night on the way to Charleston. Got into town late, the room was huge and spotless. Staff was very nice. They recommended a great breakfast spot in the morning.

Really nice breakfast and a good location. Would stay again!

Front desk staff was friendly, we receive a nice 4th story corner room, which was a little noisy with the morning traffic, no breathtaking views, not a deal breaker, this happens in big cities, and I used my white noise machine app on my cell, the breakfast was great!!! Kids loved it, plentiful, delicious, good choices, servers readily available, overall excellent deal for the price

was great, location, and staff, very relaxing and enjoyable

After arriving I waited 10 minutes in the lobby at the desk for someone to wait on me. After getting to our room, it was very clean, I actually believe they even washed the comforter unlike so many other hotels. I was very disappointed in the bathroom. The shower was disgusting. The floor of the tub was peeling and it appeared every time they caulked the outer services they went over the previous stuff leaving a nasty scum layered exterior. I think with the rate they charge for parking is ridiculous! I am still calling them as I found an additional $65 charge on my credit card. Not happy with our stay!

We enjoyed the room with a king size bed. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a couch and coffee table. Amenities were excellent and staff was too. I will definitely book here again.

I picked this hotel as a last minute trip to savannah. Apparently the Girl Scouts and a couple of other groups had all the hotels booked so this was the only opening that was not priced to the roof. The room was a basic room, clean, flat screen tv the basics. Gave me the feel of being at grandma's house so if you are looking for a sexy layout you may not want to stay here. The staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the city market and river front no need to drive unless you have some type of disability I would say it's about a 15 min walk. The hotel has a great breakfast (waffles, oatmeal, eggs etc.) included so that is one meal you don't have to pay for. All in all if you want to be close to the fun but not smack dead in the middle this is a recommended hotel . I would stay here again.

My husband and I decided laat minute to make a quick weekend vacation. Since we were booking last minute (booked our room night before arrival) I was a bit skeptical since most hotels were booked and Hampton still had a few rod available, but we were pleasantly surprised!! The hotel staff were ALL very happy and helpful!! They had great attitudes and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and had a lovely view.. Only complaint was a sticky spot in carpet beside the mini fridge... Location was centrally located to river st and historic sites within the city.. All in all we were very pleased and will rebook with Hampton Historical District on our next Savannah visit.

The hotel is not in the historic district: it is located on MLK Jr which is at best just outside the boundary of the historic district on a downbeat windswept road featuring a busy intersection, open lots and a gas station. The hotel has no restaurant or bar - the nearest places to eat or drink are a brisk ten minute walk across a busy road and not at all pleasant after dark. The breakfast is variable: good on one of our three days.

Hotel staff were great. The room, except the bathroom was run down. Curtains (the sheer ones) were torn & the carpet felt grimy. The location was on the outskirts of town. It wasn't bad but there were others that could have felt more central. Additionally, I was not sure of the cost compared to other locations. It did not feel like a great deal, so I marked it low.
