We arrived at the stated check in time of 4 but still had to wait for nearly an hour for a room. The problem was the front desk staff told us 5 more minutes several times. When we finally got to the room the crib we requested for our baby was not there and we contacted staff multiple more times requesting a crib and it never showed up. The shower head in the bathroom was loose and sprayed water all over the bathroom when I turned it on, including on my wife's open makeup she was putting on and destroyed it. We have emailed the hotel about our concerns with no response. Put simply, they don't care, at all.

The hotel is nice, rooms are comfortable and nice, needs a tad of updating, gym and pool area need to be upgraded. Oak and Moss restaurant area great and breakfast buffet was extremely good. The staff are outstanding.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful in person but if you have to call back after your stay be prepared to be placed on lengthy holds and to be hung up on.I mistakenly gave the front desk my debit card for incidentals, which the hotel placed a $60.00 hold on, and 9 days after check out this hold is still on my card... There is no option to "self park" only valet at $30.00 per day. If you ask for a bell cart it comes with a bell cart attendee who insists on taking you to your room or valet, and of course you are expected to tip them. The cleanliness of my room was subpar. There were hairs in the sink from the last visitor. The sink didn't drain properly and had to be held open with a plastic spoon we got from take out. They only stocked the room with two towels, two wash clothes and two hand towels, even though I checked in four people. They hotel staff did not want to provide extra trash bags, even though only two of the four waste baskets had bags in them (I finally found a friendly custodian who gave me extras). The glass on the showers was not clean and the baseboards in the bathroom were dirty. The door and elevator leading to River street are left unlocked, therefore anyone could walk into the hotel and take an elevator straight to the rooms. You only need your room key to access the pool and gym. The gym is great but the pool is not so great. You can barely breath in the room due to the strong smell of chlorine, and the pool is very small!

A relaxing getaway!! Wonderful quiet rooms!!! Personalized service from staff taking my stay to the next level.

Great place to stay close to everything right on the river no need for a car you can walk everywhere. Great food try two eggs for a great breakfast. The Pink House for a good dinner . We love Savannah beautiful place to visit great people

The hotel was doing renovations and the staff took long time getting baggage from car and left several items. They only had room service every two days. The indoor pool was not well ventilated so the pool area was unbearable the chlorine burned our eyes.

My only complaint was that I usually stay at the Hyatt when I am in Savannah . The last two times house keeping was lax . By this I mean this past time as well as the previous time my room was not made up till 3 pm. I left my room at 9am . I found this unacceptable. I had no clean towels till after 3pm very disappointed .Told Management didn't seem important . Don't know if I will stay their next time

The staff was amazing - very accommodating and helpful

The hotel staff were extremely warm, welcoming and pleasant. Additionally, this Hyatt is in a great central location, walking distance to most tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again, but I will probably upgrade to a room with a river view.

STAFF IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. X

The location of this hotel is great. You can leave the car and walk everywhere.

Was upgraded to a city view. We were early. Excellent location and staff. View from room.

The best hotel and location ever!! I will stay again in the future.

River view of freighters navigating the river was enterttaining. Location of the shops on River Street was convenient.

The Good: EXCELLENT LOCATION, Stunning Views of the river, easy asscess to both River St. and Bay St., shopping and trolley stops right outside the front door, Hotel has Vu bar which has drinks and food served late (Huge Plus). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel Staff..GREAT! The Bad: While the hotel at a glance looks nice and in prime condition.....take a closer look and you will see that lobby and room furniture is worn and needs replacement, paint chips and grime on bathroom and room doors and baseboards, condensation water damage under window in room 420. Things just look a little "Long In the Tooth". The view from the hotel restaurant is great....but the $20 per person buffet is WAY OVER PRICED! We purchased the breakfast plan with our room.....next time we wont. Breakfast was not great. You can go have breakfast somewhere else cheaper. The ANDAZ around the corner has a FABULOUS breakfast buffet. Also, they didnt tell you upon purchase (with the room package) that gratuity was included.....so we double tipped. Also, I noticed debris (used napkin in the elevator and Dasani wrapper on the floor of the 4th floor hallway) that stayed there both days of the trip. While I could have picked it up.....I left them there to see how long stuff like that would lay around. The answer was 2 days. All in all, We would definitely stay at the HYATT again. The good really outweighed the bad ..... and the bad wasnt really that bad....it was just cosmetic

My husband and I stayed here for one night xmas weekend. Location is perfect- we walked everywhere! The hotel is nice & what you'd expect from Hyatt. The first room they put us in was right next to the elevator & my husband asked them to move us to a room further away, this was no problem. Our room was very nice, comfortable & clean. The only negative was the shower. There is nothing dividing the shower stall from the rest of the bathroom, so water gets everywhere, even with the curtain closed. Parking at the hotel is $28 nightly. We found a parking garage on Whitaker street that was very close & only paid $10.

The staff was excellent and the location could not be beat! One of the best places I've stayed!

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very pleasant but I believe my room was haunted. Other wise a great place to stay.

The room was small with little to no closet space. Our room was never cleaned and they didn't even bother to offer clean towels. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
