Historic architecture. Excellent views of the river

Excellent hotel, great location, very nice & large room, Friendly staff. Not cheap, but overall great value for a large suite at prime spot of the city. Building and rooms definitely have character, not a typical cookie-cutter, boring hotel room. We had a great stay there.

The staff was amazing. The room was amazing. Erica Kevin and Dom were super nice and I will definitely go back

Excellent location right on the river and within walking distance to all of historic Savannah. Room came with separate kitchenette and living room, so lots of room. Friendly, helpful staff, fun wine and cheese gathering every afternoon and ice cream treats in the freezer at night made this a very special place. Hotel is showing its age just a little bit, but what great vslue for the price! Would definitely stay here again.

On the river! We enjoyed the amount of space we had in our room. It was more like an apartment that is Tastefully decorated. The lounge offered complimentary wine and cheese every evening and before bed, they served a Klondike bars to your room. Awesome!

We loved this hotel! People were friendly, rooms were rustic and historic but up to date and clean. The view was great.. everything was wonderful! Would definitely stay again. Recommend this place if you want to stay downtown near River Street. Perfect location.

Check in was fast and easy. The place was beautiful and located in a nice area. The place was clean and the staffing was fantastic.

The location was very convenient to the river restaurants and shops. They had nice buffet breakfast, and happy hour 5-7pm.

Unique and beautiful space and good location. I loved.

Extremely roomy and delightful. The staff were supportive and the amenities were superb.

Good location we stayed there two years ago it was a bed and breakfast then. Now they charge for the breakfast Buffet.

Very nice, very charming hotel with outstanding customer service

Cool hotel, but room was pretty noisy. Staff was great, bed was comfy.

staff was on spot.location was perfect, room was clean and bigger than I expectd

Overall, very nice inn. The location can't be beat. It's right on the river, but toward the end of the street away from all the bars and commotions of the night. Parking cost $15 per night. Check in was easy, and they stocked our room with 4 bottles of water each day which was really nice of them. They also offer wine/apps each evening and an ice cream treat in your freezer at night. It's just such a cozy and cute inn. Very comfortable, great location, and beautiful decor. The biggest complaint is the cleanliness. The bathroom floor had hair from previous guest, shower curtain had mold on it, and the upstairs loft furniture had a layer of dust on all surface. I was disappointed with the way it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Also, the walls are very thin. We still very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The staff is great. Management sends the staff (not just the concierge, but our waitress and and chambermaid, too) to the various tours, old houses, museums and events so that they can talk to you about them. Two little picky things: If you sensitive to noise, ask for a room with the bedroom NOT next to the river. It gets noisy, but it wasn't too late. Our room was on the first floor and we could hear people walk around on the floor above, including the nails of the dog trotting around. I recommend a second or third floor room. We did have a great time.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was exceptional and definitely had a customer service mindset, which is lost in most businesses today. The room was VERY spacious, with an actual kitchen area, bathroom, living room with sofa and desk, and bedroom. Like a home-away-from-home. The location is good for walking to the businesses on River Street and the hotel has parking for guests, so we didn't have to search for a parking place. This hotel is not for everyone, as there are a good many steps to get to the rooms or office and the building itself is quite old. The floor in our room was old hardwood, which I thought was great, but some people might be bothered by it. If you're looking for a brand new hotel with pool, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for somewhere with character and great customer service, try this place. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Plus: White noise maker (rain, etc.) included in bedroom to help with street noise. Wine and cheese in the afternoon was a nice chance to mingle with other guests.

Hotel was quaint and historic like several in Savannah. Had all modern conveniences and facilities. Staff was great! Good southern hospitality.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. The suite was so well furnished. Very comfortable bed. The wine and appetizer hour was a lot of fun meeting other guests.
