What a wonderful place to take my mom for her birthday! The staff was knowledgeable and generous. I felt like I was in a historic museum with all the modern convivences. The breakfast service was phenomenal and the location was fantastic. Couldn't rate this place higher if I tried.

This historical building is beautifully renovated. Everything was great. It is a nice place with a lot of character. The online pictures do not deceive. We could walk to everything in the historic district. Highly recommend for couples.

Staff was amazing! Terry checked me in and she was very helpful throughout my stay. So was the valet, can't recall his name. The breakfasts were excellent as was the staff. Perrin, the happy hour hostess, was so kind and friendly. She made everyone well so wecome. Love the Marshall house. Will be back.

Lets get the bad stuff out of the way first, bring your own pillow. My neck would like to file a formal complaint Mrs. Marshall. Also, since we booked last minute, we were placed in a beautiful room that unfortunately faced the parking garage. On a Saturday and Super Bowl Sunday, it was basically a live-action sound effects show. Every time I fell asleep, a car alarm went off, waking me in a brief state of panic and giving my heart more cardio than it wanted. That said, I’m certain that if I had complained, the staff would have moved me without hesitation. Now, on to the good stuff, because this hotel is MAGICAL. I already miss it and cannot wait to go back. The room itself was stunning, historic, and incredibly cozy. The location couldn’t be better; it’s truly in the heart of everything. And the breakfast, let’s talk about it. Absolutely delicious. Even better? It’s included with your stay. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s better than many of the local breakfast restaurants. Finally, the service is top-notch. Every single person we encountered was genuinely warm, kind, and attentive. Despite the sleep hiccup, this place completely stole my heart, I can’t wait to return and actually be able to sleep. I can’t wait to return. And do NOT miss the weekend entertainers, such a fantastic surprise and an absolute treat! An intimate, private concert for the hotel guests.

We love this historic hotel in the heart of Savannah. Great location, reasonably priced. Happy hour and entertainment every night at 5:30 and breakfast in the morning. Hotel has a lot of character.
