Absolutely loved the Marshall house. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the historical aspect of the home and it’s history. Only complaint was valet parking was expensive. Close to everything and everything was in walking distance that we wanted. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel lobby and restaurants are very well maintained and beautiful. My room was in excellent condition. It was small and that makes sense because this is an historic property. It is about 4 blocks to the river area and there are some nice park/squares nearby with some huge trees to enjoy.

Room was very small. Lots of construction going on. Price of room was high for size of bedroom.

Construction of street required us to transport our luggage from city parking garage.

beautiful area. construction was annoying but not the fault of the hotel

The Marshall house is an amazing property - a refreshing change from large, chain hotels with a character and charm all of it’s own. The architecture is wonderful and from the reception to the library to the rooms it is like stepping back in time but with the amenities excepted in today’s world. The staff were friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable although our room was unfortunately noisy due to looking out on the air conditioning unit for the hotel. We were not able to change rooms but the hotel did offer us a better room if we were to visit again. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here to get a taste of history.

This hotel is so interesting! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were activities planned for the guests and little extras everywhere. Location was great - could walk anywhere. My car stayed in a garage near the hotel the entire time I was there.

Friendly staff

Loved the atmosphere & friendly service! The authentic historical building has been modernized enough to be quite comfortable, yet remains very elegantly simple. The shopping & dining nearby keeps everything within walking distance. Tasteful, elegant, gorgeous & great service…what else does one need for a perfect getaway!!

What a beautiful property with lots of history. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the wine hour and breakfast were great. The area around the hotel is right in the middle of historical Savannah and couldn’t be beat.

We really liked the Marshall house. The hotel transports you to another decade. The staff was nice and always helping. The breakfast was great and the servers were so friendly and attentive. Our room was a little small but cozy. Staff maintain the rooms and areas very clean and tidy.

Loved the older style yet with modern facilities. And everything is within walking distance - we valet parked the truck and never got back in it until we left after our weekend. Also, the front desk staff and the dining staff were exceptional.

Complementary water and happy hour were great. Room was nice too

We had a wonderful stay at The Marshall House. We will definitely be back…

I loved the hotel! Staff was great and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

Thank you Robert for your excellent comments! Whenever I can I go to the square behind the hotel. It is so relaxing to sit and enjoy nature. When the hotel remodel was done back in 1999. They tried to stay somewhat true to hotel room sizes in the 1800s. So yes, our rooms are on a bit of the small size. We hope you are able to visit with us again one day.

Thank you Glenn for your comments. I'm not really sure which room type you stayed in. Depending on the room type will be the size of the room. Unfortunately you are correct. The road construction in front of the hotel was supposed to have been completed months ago. I hope you return again once that construction is gone.

Good morning Eric, Thank you for your comments. We are so very sorry about the street construction. It unfortunately is beyond our control. It was supposed to have been months ago. I hope you will come visit us again when it is finally done.
