this is probably my first review ever. Please dont waste your money at this hotel, very ungrateful for the business I gave them. dirty rooms. items would be missing when i would return to my room at the end of the day. I would take photos of my room before i would leave and when i would come back items would be moved around that wasnt necessary for room service. very corrupt operations, they work together to mask their deceptions and wrongdoings. although repeated conversations were made with management, nothing was done to correct the situation. SAD. Even look at their responses to other complaints, very copy-and-paste if you ask me

Overall, my experience at this hotel was a very unpleasant experience. My room would hardly ever get serviced even when requested, little lighting in rooms, pool and hot tub never working, overall dirty feeling and outdated. Housekeepers were incredibly rude, demanded to be tipped and several items went missing during my stay, when brought up to management they said they would look into it, nothing ever was done about it. The only positive that I saw was that the Front Desk Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. They were also the only ones that I got apologies from, the housekeepers or management never talked to me about my experience. There are defiantly better options in the area and I will be choosing one of those on my next visit to Savannah. I travel a lot for work and am a Platinum Elite with Marriott, this hotel by far is the worst one I've seen in the brand.

It was mediocre. I gave it a 2 out of 5 because our room was "clean" at least that is what it looked like, but it smelled of mold. The beds were - meh...- I have a bad back so I pay more for a "better" hotel brand because presumably, they will have better beds. These were ok. They were not super comfy but they did not kill my back. The pool is indoor and was in good condition. Too much Chlorine in the room that burned my eyes so i had to sit outside while my kids played in the pool. Breakfast was decent. The nighttime lady was Rude AF and the lady the next day was rude as well. they told me I had to go to my room and wait for pool towels to be delivered to me. I waited 20 min, called the desk and they still did not bring me any until another 20 min later, by then someone already brought my kids towels at the pool THEN delivered towels to my room. It was ridiculous. There was an older white male and an older dark female with big gold earrings who worked there and were nice. i assume managers because they were checking the staff's work. I just cant stand rude customer service. So the rude staff and the moldy smelling room earned this hotel a 2. Not worth the money I paid.

Stayed at this property with my wife for a wedding in town. Physically, this is a great property. The rooms are recently renovated, and everything was very crisp. The TV selections were excellent, they have a very wide range of channels using in room DirecTV service, you'll definitely find something to watch. Comfortable beds, clean carpets, no complaints with the physical plant. The hotel is very close to the airport property, but planes do not fly overhead, so you'll get a good night's sleep. There is a very large shopping center on the other side of I-95, plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the historic district. Where this hotel lacks is in the service department. The issues we had were fixed later by a manager, but the front line staff needs improvement. If I return to the area I will probably check around to other hotels first.

When we checked in, Theresa kept us waiting for over 5 minutes and did not acknowledge us. She also did not give information about breakfast hours, amenities, how to get to the room, etc. The elevator is very small and the pool smelled very strongly of chlorine and the water appeared to be green, so we skipped that. Our room was decent, aside from the stale smell. The hotel is outdated and needs to be renovated soon. Lastly, the side door by our room did not work (would not recognize key card at all) and we were not warned. We had arms full of food and drinks, and I parked by that door only to have to walk around the building. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and she shrugged it off, uncaringly. On the plus side, the TV's seem newer and the breakfast was great. We had mini waffles, fresh fruit, good coffee, and sausage, eggs, muffins, etc. The breakfast was the best part about the stay. The hotel is also very close to several restaurants and the new Tanger Outlet.

Especially Cecelia. All the staff I interacted with were really nice, but she went above and beyond. I felt I had made a friend and was being taken care of as a friend. And that's why I'm giving this hotel 4 stars. The hotel was clean, but it was worn. It was mostly small things: there were a number of small maintenance issues that had been fixed in a sort of minimum way. There was a card reader on one end of the building that didn't work at all. The anti-slip coating in the hot tub was painful to sit on -- and that's kinda the point of a hot tub, isn't it? The outside door in the pool room was propped open to a lovely patio that didn't require any security to access. Small things.

Indoor pool was so chlorinated we couldn't stand the smell. Good location in proximity to restaurants, the outlets, and downtown Savannah. I had trouble sleeping due to noise (and that was with ear plugs). Thankfully we only stayed one night. Check in attendant was very peppy and cheerful, which was nice after a stressful final driving hr with our two girls.

Nothing spectacular but a well located Fairfield Inn staffed by friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are comfortable and being a few minutes drive away from the Airport and Downtown the pricing reflects that. Would definitely consider next time I am in the area.

Like the last kid chosen on the playground when forming teams, I will avoid this place if at all possible. Was in town for a couple of nights for an interview at a local aerospace company. They were responsible for making the travel arrangements so I wasn't going to be too critical of their choice. I will next time... In no order of frustration: Pulled back the covers to find a bug had beat me to the pillow (see photo). I killed it but felt like things were crawling on me all night. Clock on the nightstand was off by an hour. Went to reset the time but the knob to do that was gone off the clock. The fridge was broken. I wasn't trying to keep anything in there but you would think it would be checked. The bed frame had a part sticking out so far on one side that someone had wrapped a towel around it to keep you from knocking the crap out of your lower shin. Strange that the towel was there after the room was "reset". Maybe housekeeping put it there. When housekeeping was done with my room they left the trash in both containers and took the used towels with no clean replacements. I had to get a bath rug for the floor from one of the abandoned carts in the hall. No hair dryer. If you have seen my "hair" you would know it wasn't an issue for me but thought it strange that they don't offer one. Unidentifiable stains on the seat in the corner. Don't even want to think of the source. Finally, the popcorn ceiling was peeling off above the sink. (see photo)

My room was nice and clean really felt like home. The staff was wonderful and will be staying here again when I return in two weeks. The breakfast was wonderful along with the eating area was clean that meant a lot to see that..
