Hotel Indigo Athens University Area

Hotel was really nicely decorated! Felt super modern. Staff was really friendly. It's a bit farther from the main strip than a few other hotels, but we are talking a block or two, so its no big deal. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was 5 minute walk from the downtown, huge parking lot next to it (not the hotel's though), great parking garage. Modern style rooms, great service.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Indigo. The room was clean and QUIET - even though the hotel was sold out- and very comfortable. I like the green features. My visit coincided with UGA graduation and the price for the room was sky high. For that much $$ I expected things to be a bit more cushy. But all in all, it was a nice stay.

The receptionist treated us as if she was doing us a favor. There was no southern hospitality, no smile, she was very happy to inform we would be charged $10 a day for parking. The place felt like a museum of modern art. Would you like to sleep at a museum of contemporary art? Maybe yuppies couples do. But to me other accommodations nearby looked much more inviting!

This hotel was very hip. It could have been cleaner. The room was very ambient. Mood lighting. Comfortable bed. I will go back.

There were several buckets left in the room. At first I thought the cleaners had left them. Upon further investigation they were recycling buckets. Overall hotel was clean and quiet. No carpet in the room was a plus.

Trendy hotel located steps from downtown. Room was nice, bathroom was quite big. Hardwood floors in the room with modern furniture and nicer finishings throughout. Staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful and allowed us to check in early (probably helped that it was a quite weekend). Parking is on-site and $10 per night, which isn't bad (not sure how other hotels nearby compare, but for Athens it didn't seem unreasonable). Rate for the room was competitive. No coffee machine in the room or free coffee downstairs, which would be a nice improvement. There is a decent gym downstairs, but no pool. Overall it was great for what we wanted for our anniversary weekend--something close to downtown with a little more class and style than a typical mid-price hotel.

We had to stay in the Athens area for a wedding and the hotel was great! The staff was wonderful, and the room was amazing!

Very good overall in terms of cleanliness and service - but watch out for the expensive parking charge! Parking is NOT FREE at the Indigo.

Explored Athens - cool college town. Bridal rehearsal dinner nearby. Wished hotel had a pool. Found entrance to hotel confusing - signage would help. Shower door squealed & could use some grease. Vending machine had only liquids & nothing within 2+ blocks @ night for snacks. Map from concierge was helpful to exploring town as was small booklet in room. Maids were pleasant & helpful.

We had a wonderful time at the Indigo Hotel. The rooms are very modern but comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the customer service. The front desk staff was very helpful in making cab reservations and giving directions. Parking was secure since you had to use your room key to enter gated lot. I would definately recommend the Indigo to my friends and family.

While we spent little time at the Indigo, what time we spent there was just right - its clean, has a nice coffee shop and bar, and the room and bed were comfortable.

It was my boyfriends birthday, the staff allowed me to check in early to prepare the room for the surprises to follow. The room was immaculate, the bathroom and shower amenities, linens were top of the line and the bed was oh so comfortable and the view itself was breathtaking. Hotel Indigo is gorgeous, we didnt want to leave. I promise we will definately be visiting again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Great service, great location, great rooms. My husband didn't want to stay in this hotel because he always stays at the Hilton in Athens and he was very pleased and admitted that he liked Indigo better and from now on he wants to stay here. Everything looks like new and the decoration is really nice. Definitely a great stay.

Great hotel in a great location. I was in Athens to go to a basketball game and treat my Valentine. Loved the hotel but a little pricey for my budget. Room was spotless and bed slept great. Crisp sheets.

The hotel was really nice, and very close price to other (less nice) hotels in the area! It was nice to be walking distance from downtown. The rooms were really nice and clean. The one thing to complain about is there is a $10 charge for parking which seems silly for guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Athens who wants to enjoy the area!
