We honestly had the BEST time here. The grounds are magnificent beyond belief. So relaxing, so beautifully maintened, camp fire every night by the lake. Just so amazing. The pool was gorgeous, my one complaint is that the pool wasn’t serviced. There were often no towels and no one putting the umbrellas up which we had to figure out on our own and was quite difficult. But the pool seating was awesome and plentiful. The lobby was beautiful and cozy in the best ways. My biggest complaint was that our room smelled damp/moldy as if there had been some flooding or something. Please do yourself a favor and spend the little bit extra on the lake view room! Made the biggest difference to us and the resort view rooms look over the park lot which is not great. Overall had the best time in a GORGEOUS place
Beautiful scenery and the resort’s grounds are very nicely done. We enjoyed waking the property, the nice lobby with room to play games and the s’mores in the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I would say negative is the resort needs an update. The rooms have older carpet and the shower didn’t have great water pressure. All in all it is a nice place to stay with very a friendly staff!

Hotel room didn’t cool down until I found the PTAC filters were not clean. The coffee cups were not wrapped and one had a human hair in it. The keys erased between receiving and getting to room. The exterior walk along the river was not lit up and was a hazard to walk. Upon exit, I was overcharged against what Orbitz stated I would owe and there were no additional charges to the bill. And the lady that checked me out was not very friendly. No conversation, just asked if we were ready to check out, gave me bill and said come stay again. Overall i don’t know exactly what the word “resort” means here, but I was extremely disappointed. I will be spending my day tomorrow to right the over charge.
Location was gorgeous and accessible to both nearby towns and many other locations. Only disappointment was the hotel was under renovation and was not disclosed through booking agent. Hotel staff was very considerate and tried hard to correct any problems we had. I would certainly stay again.
A/c needs shield to direct up away from bed. It was very cold draft for anyone in bed near A/C. Food was very average. No lake tours available for less than 25 people.. was disappointed not to tour lake. Hope they get better and place is beautiful.
usually go a little more luxurious for our golf/spa trips but being right at the lake/marina made this spot an ideal location.
