Everything was great restaurant needs to be faster, and I have better options for food to be on bar with the other great service at this resort
Room 1612 has damp musty smelling come from bathroom vents
The Westin is a great place to stay to see Savanah. Would highly recommend.
The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was helpful, kind, and polite. The lobby, restaurant, and pool areas were beautiful. Unfortunately I found the room to be lacking. Even with the air conditioning maxed out, the room was barely cool and I could not sleep. Maintanence came out to check, switched out the filter but even still I would expect a hotel of this caliber to have a better working A/C system in the south in the summer. Also the bedding was not good. On our king size bed, there was a queen sized flat sheet on the bottom so it didn't tuck in and moved around the second we got into bed. The other covers also were queen sized and barely made it to the edges of the king bed. While the rest of the hotel was great, primarily, we used the room for sleeping and were very disappointed in our experience at night.
The staff was was very polite and helpful throughout the entire hotel.
Westin is always the best, but this is one of the best properties I’ve ever been to for the price. And I have four season standards!
The valet, Alex, was top notch. We forgot a few things in the car and he was very eager to assist us with anything we needed. We love to stay here twice a year. We are used to it being an excellent room and bathroom. We stayed in 1531 and all was great EXCEPT the bathtub. It had been painted and it had a large area of paint having been peeled off. So disappointing since we usually feel like taking a nice shower but no way. One other positive though is my friend left her iPad behind when we were here last month and we thought we’d take a chance to see if it had been in lost and found. They did have it and she was thrilled to get it back.
Great property with awesome views and facilities away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Savannah across the river. Easy free ferry ride across river when you want to eat or see sights.
The prpwety was well maintained. The staff always wore mask even when delivering room service.
Miguel (Mike) from the downstairs bar was phenomenal and should be given a raise. There weren't really any negative experiences to speak of, if in town again, would be glad to stay here next time.
Just an enjoyable stay.
Stunning exterior and lobby, rooms were tiny, bathrooms underwhelming
Great place to stay room was nice, view wasn’t so great. Asked for a view of the golf course and it was muddy waters and not what I was hoping for. Concierge service was left to be desired.
Didn't enjoy our stay. It offers things on the website that they do not have. Room service, maid service, 3 restaurants?
Restaraunt hours were terrible. WARNING! This hotel is beautiful but has not addressed the huge issues with transportation. It was next to impossible to get transportaion to the other side of the river.. Several guests, myself included were left stuck trying to find transportation to the airport on Sunday. Cab drivers didn't show up, Uber offered almost 0 service. We lucked out and got a ride from a hotel guest! All the while their hotel van sat in the parking area. They should offer better transportation.
Loved the pool area with all the nice seating areas, fire pits, hot tub and pool, all with a beautiful of the river and Savannah’s historic district. Had a great resort feel. Liked the free ferry service as I didn’t have to stay in the busy touristy area but could easily access it without driving and parking.
