Staff were nice. However the place is a dump, yet they charge market prices.

Prompt check in and clean room

Pros- Friendly staff, good shower pressure, comfy bed, low price, close to freeway. Cons- Construction is being done to the building, thin walls, carpet stained and visibly dirty, sink far back from counter edge, no black out curtains, plastic shutter that let a ton of light in, lights that make static noise, close to busy road so lots of traffic and sirens. Overall okay stay but would be pricey if not Halloween weekend.

Noise

Left my jacket with cash inside the pocket. Came back a few hours later, the manager handed it back to me cash intact. Very honest staff.

The property was clean but very bare bones: no facial tissue, no coffee in lobby or room, no vending machine for snacks, combination liquid soap for hand soap and shampoo - really bare bones. Loud overhead airplanes if you’re sensitive to noise. Location was safe area.

Lady at check in was very nice. Free parking

The room is a bit on the small side ( not advisable for the claustrophobic) though clean & functional. The room where we stayed in is equipped with a small microwave oven, a mini fridge but no toiletries except for bathroom soap/shampoo(?) . Parking and wi-fi are free ( a big plus). The air condition though working is a bit noisy. It is a plus that the bed is quite comfortable but the noise can be bothersome. One can hear someone talking nearby, just outside the room & the sound of airplanes passing by . Not soundproof at all. Location is great. A few restaurants are within walking distance including a nearby mall. Would we come back to spend a night or two ? Yes because of its clean room, location and reasonable rate.

Recently updated room was nice. Lots of power outlets

It was a small simple room and not fancy at all. But I was happy with everything about it. It was perfectly clean. The bed was very comfortable and felt luxurious. The desk was small, but very useful because of its simplicity. There were plenty of places to plug in and (if I remember correctly) there was even a USB charging port. The TV was large and had a high quality picture (unusual for a budget hotel) and had a large selection of cable channels. The water flow of the shower was more than adequate. The internet was reliable and super fast at a download speed of 90 megs (the fastest I've ever measured at any hotel). The only flaw was that there was an ironing board, but no iron. I could have gone to the office to ask for an iron, but it was late and my shirt wasn't all that wrinkled. The two staff members I dealt with were professional. In some of the reviews, there are complaints about the noise from airliners taking off from the nearby airport, but it didn't bother me and there were no take-offs from 10 pm to 6 am, probably because of noise abatement rules followed by the airport. A mall/shopping center is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There are a number of good places to eat at the mall and nearby. There is a Target store there and, most importantly for me, a BevMo (large liquor store). The San Bruno BART station is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I'll be staying at the Bayhill Inn again!

Our only complaint is that there was the smell of cigarette smoke in the room.

Just right for the price. No complaints. Its only overnight stay.

Spent 3 nights here. Rooms are SMALL, clean, & have a super tiny parking lot. On our last night our car was severely damaged by another guest in the hotel parking lot (big white commercial truck, amongst many staying here). The staff did NOTHING, even though they “have” security cameras on the premises. We would NEVER recommend this place, EVER!!! #ghetto

Room was small, motel like. Staff lives there. Woke up late for check out and they were outside our door asking when we would leave. Keys always got demagnetized. The perk is that it's close to a freeway and stores. Would I stay here again? Nope

No coffee in room. Not clean. Bed was comfortable though. No bathroom supplies. I will not go back here. Expensive too!

Very close to SFO and good restaurants. Target is nearby
