I had high hopes for this place based on location and of course "pictures". So check in was quick and positive. This is December of 2020 during the 2nd stay at home Covid order. I brought my own cleaning supplies. When I wiped down the room, my wipes were black. Counter tops, all surfaces hadn't been wiped down, at all. My reservation was for 2 nights (mind you Mon-Wed) non peak days. Just like other reviewed, the entire hotel smelled like weed. Upon entering the room, also, there was a constant knocking sound in walls every few minutes. Enough to jar you. It would stop then start up again. My girlfriend and I were woken up all night. I also had to get ice from the front desk, get cups from them, etc. So the next day, early afternoon, the knocking sound in the walls was still happening. So I asked to move rooms. In the new room SAME DAMN KNOCKING IN THE WALLS. It was slightly less in volume, but still disruptive. That 2nd night, the weed smell grew way stronger, now completely inside my room. One hugely loud party across the hall and one now to the right of me. I knew I had no choice, but to leave my stay early. I drove home to northern CA that night, instead of getting sleep before hand. I had to check out early, forfeit a night's stay $ and barely make it home the 5 1/2 hour drive. I will never stay in this hotel again. It's been remodeled, looks cool and retro, but fix the plumbing in the walls, fix the smell, make this what you advertise. Show some class to match the cost

Stay in the older rooms. They are beautiful compare to the new rooms. Restaurant on rooftop is amazing.

It was horrible just horrible no words my room was supper dirty the shower was over flowing water was comeing out I told them to change my room or at least send some one to clean it and they just ignored me not a place i will go back to ever

Had to change from one bed to two and they didn’t have any more rooms available and would not allow us to keep our king room reservation with our 2 kids and still charge us for the stay! Horrible accommodation when we were willing to upgrade to another room.

The staff was so rude. I dreaded going back to my room. But the room was clean.

Extremely friendly staff and reasonably priced....

This was our second time staying here. A little underwhelming for the price. Our room keys didn’t work on multiple situations. Had to get new keys at 2 am. It was a huge inconvience. Asked for a late check out thinking they would be willing considering our troubles and were told no. We did eat lunch at the hotel and the food was amazing.

Great & very attentive staff. Loved the entire experience & I felt like I was treated very well. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s traveling to LA. I was disappointed with the hotel I stayed at in SFransisco, as they couldn’t compare to my experience @ the Sixty in LA

It’s a cool looking hotel, but the experience was a let down primarily due to the problems with water temperature control. It would change without warning from very cold to burning hot, and was a risk for scalding. Hotel staff said they sent engineers to fix it, but there was no improvement. My kids said it hurt too much when it got hot.

not a good experience, pictures were deceitful hotel was dated, not clean, needs remodeling

Great hotel, convenient location to office. Second floor very cool, modern and unique. Will stay here again.

Very accommodating. Moved my room and offered to credit my bill after neighbors in next room refused to stop partying/fighting at 4am

Chose this hotel bc of the location and photos on the website. I arrived early and they checked me into a room that was ready. Upon arrival to the room, it was very hot (and during a heat wave in LA) and so I let front desk know. They sent someone to check it out and said they would have another room for me if they werent able to fix it. I left the hotel for meetings and was phoned in the evening to be told that they didnt have another room for me. I was appauled. The staff's customer service and hospitality level was extremely low. I had to argue for another room, which is not something you want to have to do when paying this type of price to stay somewhere. Eventually I was given another room, but the rest of my stay I saw that the service level was just as poor with the entire staff. For example: Housekeeping came to my room at 8am to clean, I sat by the pool for 2.5 hours and not once did the wait staff come by to ask if I wanted water or to order something. The hotel is very dark and there are a lack of signs pointing explaining where things are located. They do not provide free water in your room, it is $8 for a small bottle. Overall, for the cost of the hotel, the service level is beyond poor and you can tell the hotel is being poorly managed by an amateur staff.

Convenient location, very friendly staff, and comfortable room. Will stay here again!

Thank you for this honest feedback and I sincerely apologize that you were disturbed by scent on property. I would like to take this time to assure you that we are 100% a non smoking hotel which means no smoking in the rooms, balconies or public spaces. We work diligently to fine and evict all guest who break this policy. While it does happen on occasion, we as a property are not turning a blind eye to the issue and follow through firmly with the policy. In regards to the banging noise, I have forwarded this review to my Director of Engineering to investigate. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
