The Palm Gardens is just off the 101 in Thousand Oaks. A breakfast buffet comes with your room. Great pool.and hot tub area for a day of relaxation. Next door is grocery store and liqour store. Across the street is Starbucks. Across the freeway is In and Out.

Great aesthetic, very nice grounds, nice little gym. The only thing I would improve is the mattress quality and pillow size (small pillows on a king size bed). The location was convenient. We would stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and everything worked well. The only downside was the water pressure in the faucet. The hotel is conveniently located with a number of good restaurants in the neighborhood. I would stay there again.

The property is well maintained and gorgeous. I think the biggest problem was the toilet it didnt always flush the first time so we had to try 2 or 3 times before it would actually flush. Other than that the rooms were nice and clean.

Have stayed here several times. Property has been updated; rooms have LVT flooring and bathrooms are nicely done. Appreciate having a makeup mirror and good lighting. Hot breakfast is provided. Rooms open to the outside; hotel is well lit and I felt safe even when traveling alone. Convenient to freeway; really didn't hear any freeway noise. Price point is better than other area properties and parking is free (I actually had reservations at a different property in Camarillo which I cancelled after learning they charged a daily parking fee. In Camarillo!) Service is friendly and efficient. Beds are reasonably comfortable; I'm used to a memory foam mattress so it's always hard to sleep in hotel beds. They do provide pillows with different levels of filling so that's nice. Overall a nice property, reasonably priced and conveniently located.

Hotel was good but don’t venture out for a morning walk. Neighborhood behind the property was very sketchy. We were followed by several males in masks, recorded, and questioned why we were there. We quickly turned around and returned to the hotel.

The grounds of this hotel are so beautiful and the location was perfect for us to attend a wedding in Simi Valley. The room was clean and the breakfast was outstanding. The only minor complaint I have is the sliding door on the bathroom. It didn't give much privacy and also hard to use the bathroom at night without lighting up the whole room. I would prefer a standard door. Other than that, it was very nice, very clean and excellent location.

So sad but won't be back

We have stayed here 10 years in a row and I'm sad to say I don't think we will ever be back. We checked in and was told we got a free upgrade to a suite we didn't want that we wanted our room we always stayed in and the room we reserved and were told very rudely that they are booked full and won't be making any swaps. I booked my room months in advance. We get into our suite which has a smell and then later we find out has no water pressure in the shower and the sink has no water period! Maintenance comes and fixes sink but nothing with the shower we're told it's because everyone is taking a shower at the same time! Your a hotel shouldn't that be expected? The next day we see a whole baseball team checking out so they obviously bumped us to accommodate them even though we booked months in advance! Also we moved rooms the next day when they all left out water pressure was drastically different in our original room we usually get. The biggest reason I won't be back was how rudely we were treated.
