The rooms were a bit dated for the amount of money per night.

The property was simple and basic, but clean and served its purpose. The jacuzzi and pool area are small and nothing special. Hotel location is in walking distance and quick ride share distance to local breweries, that is the only reason we stayed there. I will be at the Four Seasons across the street the next time I come to town.

Overall, it was very nice but my particular room had a very loud annoying HVAC system. I did not sleep well and I have no problems sleeping harsh environments. It should be rectified for future guests. The breakfast was nice and I think the overall environment from my last stay at a Res Inn has improved. A solid B+.

Good cleaning stay. Will recommend to our friends.

It was very clean and quit. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great stay.

It was a great getaway. Close enough to everything LA area has to offer. Yet far enough not to be disturbing. Perfect mix.

This was my first time staying at the hotel the room was clean and comes with a very nice small kitchen which was perfect for us. We started the night for the Girlz Gone Riding mountain bike event and wanted to stay close Malibu State Park. Both my friend and I had no sleep all night long. We tossed and turned all night and both complained about the pillows being uncomfortable. They felt like they were stuffed with just a little bit of cotton balls. Normally I can sleep almost anywhere but this by far felt like they were really old pillows. Needs to definitely be changed out and my blanket felt like sandpaper. I slept on the sofa bed and it came with a package zipped up with sheets, pillowcases, pillows and its own blanket. That blanket was awful.honestly I could have found blankets and pillows at a garage sale that would have been more comfortable and felt better than the ones provided by the hotel. I am totally disappointed. First time having a bad experience with a Marriott hotel chain.

I picked this hotel because it was an affordable 2 bedroom suite. And 2 bedrooms really means 2 bedrooms! 1 with King bed and 1 with Queen bed, each with its own bathroom! Great kitchens stocked with dishes, silverware, etc. Good staff, kept things neat and clean. My complaints are the little things: 1. Internet (free WiFi) didn't work - required calls to service provider to individually add devices instead of automatically like every other router 2. Key cards often took multiple swipes to work 3. Whirlpool ridiculously over chlorinated. Caused burning eyes and lungs 4. Pool area consistently out of towels. (though they quickly added when we asked). Minor inconveniences and I'd stay there again!

Great place, very accommodating, super location, nice breakfast

Perfectly located to the event we were attending made it easy to get around. Rooms were exactly what we requested, spacious and clean, well cared for while we were there. Love the hotel chain and as with this trip, never disappointed with the service and amenities.

The two bdrm suite w/ one king and one queen. room was comfortable and kitchen well equipped w/ fridge, microwave and stove. Cookies at front desk when we arrived were excellent and buffet breakfast was great (fresh fruit, sausages, waffles, oatmeal, etc). Requested a crib and Pack and Play was in the room when we arrived, with custom sheets and liner. Most definitely recommend this to a friend.

Hotel was so comfortable. Nice bed, with big flatscreen tv in bedroom. Nice sofa in seperate living room. Full size fridge with stove, coffee maker and kitchen table. Really good restaurant in same parking lot.

My Daughter and I drove up from Temecula to attend a concert at Pepperdine in Malibu. We were looking for something close by and reasonable with at least 3 stars. The Desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. She provided us with information on local restaurants and let us know about their free breakfast. Our room was nice with a kitchen living room and separate sleeping room and bathroom. I esp. liked that the bathroom was clean and newer it seemed. Breakfast, although the waffle maker was very slow and there was a line my daughter didn't mind waiting to make her chocolate chip waffles! I enjoyed my coffee, eggs, yogurt and fresh blueberries. I would recommend this hotel.

The room was nice. Wish the pool was bigger. Had the buffet breakfast. Food was good. But the area to serve yourself was a bit cramped. Overall we had a good time.

Service was good. Room was Marriott-standard. Breakfast was.. well, free. Fitness amenities good.

This was the second time staying at this hotel. We enjoyed it again. It has a great breakfast(free), and a social hour 530-730(free drinks). The pool is nice and the gym is functional. The hot tub was broken for most of the trip(Booooooooooo!). Rooms are very clean. Hotel is in a great location to the freeway and 20 min to Zuma beach.

Just wanted a restful peaceful weekend and that's exactly what we got!!

Very convenient location for the wedding reception at Four Seasons hotel

We arrived a little before the 3:00 check-in, but the very freindly young man at the desk was able to locate an available room and check us in early. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. We were in town for a big birthday party just blocks from the hotel. We had a few hours before the party, so we spent some time by the pool and spa. Both were clean and inviting. The spa was just hot enough and the jets felt great on out tired bones. After returning from the party, had an excellent night sleep. The bed, pillows and bedding were all to notch. The buffet breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review the Residence Inn by Marriott Westlake Village. We are delighted that you were able to sample many of our local breweries. The hotel is very walkable to many restaurants, local retailers and tasting rooms. Thank you, again.

Dear Anonymos: We apologize for the loud AC in your room and have advised the Engineering department to inspect all rooms and make sue this is an isolated incident. We are happy that you enjoyed the breakfast. We look forward to seeing you again. Sincerely, Amanda Parrish
