I booked a king size non smoking room for 1 night, I got there come to find out they overbooked and only had smoking rooms left

Property very sketchy... was it built in the 50's or something? They didn't have a key for the room.... the manager had to come up and let us in. The room smelled awful, like a mix of cigarette smoke and ammonia. The bed was hard, like sleeping on a box spring. The pillows were thin and uncomfortable. A couple of the electrical outlets did not work. The shower did not work; the lever to switch from bath to shower was broken/missing. It's right next to the freeway and noisy. My wife wanted to ask for a refund, but I told her "I guess you get what you pay for!". Should I go on??

Had to stay here for one night do to everything being booked up and was just passing through. Front desk dude was awesome but the motel it self is run down, out dated big time and just sad looking. Breakfast is little to nothing available. If its the only place you can get for a night to lay your head down, thrn it will do. But would not stay again if others available.

Great close to Denny's it was so affordable I extended my stay for a month

Disappointing hotel condition. Dirty carpets and chairs. Not recommended.

Exterior and pool area were reasonably maintained. If you just need a place to sleep or if you are feeling nostalgic for your favorite prison movie, this is the place for you. For the price, it's about what you should expect. The staff was nice.

Entering the room the light switch didn't turn on the bulb with no cover over the main area but the farthest one on the end of the ceiling that did have a cover . The musty dank smell was over powering until I sprayed and had candles going at all times while in the room. The bathroom outlet wasn't working , and the shower was a joke . I'm 5'7" and the shower head when raised at it tallest to my chin. But since we had to aim it at the wall that wasn't much of an issue . You can turn the shower water on and keep it at the middle between hot and cold and never touch it and it will flux between ice cold and scolding boil your skin off hot . And no matter when you try to take a shower day or night this is what happens . The sink leaks if you run the water trying to maybe wash your face. And the toilet runs and runs but you can't tell until you turn the very loud bathroom light fan 1 switch combo off. There is 1 outlet available to charge a phone . You may save alot of money staying here but you will be very very happy when you get home . Not sure if I was bitten by something or if I now have a strange rash in random spots but 2 days equals a few places with bumps that are very bothersome. The pool looks nice but isn't heated. It is close to the freeway and target and a coffee shop ! They have no coffee available in the room.

Do NOT stay here. This place is so unprofessional, rude, not safe and unorganized. I do not understand how this hotel is still in business. Pros: cheap hotel. (BUT you get what you pay for) Cons: everything; doors are broken to you’re room, security latch was broken, cig burns in the sheets, shower door doesn’t close, AC unit broken, smells bad, mold in the shower, old fridge that barely works, lights barely work, blinds broken, breakfast was a complete joke, liars, hard beds, and so much more. When we checked out- we tried to complained to the check out clerk. She was so disrespectful and had attitude. We let her know about the front door situation to our room and she did not care but instead gave us attitude. She kept her head down and never looked at us. We also brought up the cig burns in the sheets. She stated that we requested a smoking room and that’s what we got. We told her we never wanted a smoking room and that’s not how it is done. She said that the smokers keep ruining the sheets so they never change them out. (Nasty!) at that point nothing was being handled- we took the hotel’s business card and will complain to the owner. We never got an apology from this rude/unprofessional clerk. I am disgusted how these workers treat THEIR customers. Apparently we had no chance or voice at that hotel to complain- so my voice to you reading this is: seriously do NOT stay there. Horrible service and nasty rooms. Save up your money for a better hotel.

The room was clean this time and the bathroom was also clean. The only thing that bothered me was all night long I kept hearing someone or something sounded like a maid cart rolling by my room multiple times..

Convenient, next to the freeway and a Dennys restaurant. The wifi never worked at all. Cell service on the back side near the freeway was very weak, but was able to get internet by tethering. Overall cleanliness is good and it is a convenient, reasonably priced facility for travelers seeking price and convenience.

Great comfortable stay...very accessible to restaurants and stores.

Clean room, but there were no towels in the room and we did not notice until morning shower. Then it was too late. Told the desk clerk and he just shrugged like it didn't matter.

Stayed for a week. Was a good experience. The staff was nice.

Great location and good price. Hotel needs an update but the stay was fine for the price.

To see the Camarillo Airshow, I tried to reserve hotel near Camarillo Airport, but I couldn't . So search other area ,I found this Motel (about 7-8 miles). Hotel location is very convinient. Exit northbound FWY101,turn right the first cross, easy to find this Motel . And Denny's is in front of this Motel . And Mexican fastfood (EL-POCO?),TARGET store. in the vicinity . 4 nights stay,my room had be no cleaned inside the room .

It was ok. I needed a place to sleep. It had a bed. Could use some up grades.
