Beautiful stay great staff very nice love it !!!
Great room and services. Lots of advertised services that they don't offer anymore such as complimentary bottle of wine, free breakfast, etc. However, when I asked them, they did comp our breakfast and send us the bottle of wine anyway which was nice! Valet parking only at about $40/day. Staff was courteous. Property is so large that it is very easy to get lost.
Overall a great experience. Staff was very helpful helping with all reservations in advance of our stay. Transportation around the hotel site was a little unorganized but I woul definitely return to this hotel. Overall they appear to continue to improve the resort.
We stayed for two nights in a regular cottage. The king bed was super comfortable but the sheets were average. The wall had quite a lot of scuff marks. Tiny closet no other storage, no mini fridge. Nice large bathroom with big mirrors and great rain shower, nice fluffy towels. Not the best lighting for putting on makeup. Toilet is in its own enclosed space with a fan. Large TV with option to project whatever apps you have on your phone (Netflix etc.), no premium channels to watch. Small porch with upright chairs and small table, although it looked like a kid with a pen had drawn all over the cushions. Resort was at low occupancy (off season, middle of the week) so can't speak to how much noise would come through the wall if we had neighbors. We tried to take a nap during the day but the housekeeping carts rolled by on the boardwalk outside so many times made it impossible. We could easily hear regular volume discussions by the staff outside laying in bed inside our room. There are 3 pools. The heated pool was closed for construction which was disappointing since we visited in February. We hung out by the other pool which was very nice. No alcohol served at that pool though as server said there is also a rehab place on site (not sure if that applies to all pools). We had food poolside that was good but pricey. We did have the complementary breakfast both days which was pretty good. Didn't eat in restaurant or use the lobby bar.
This hotel was above my expectations, I enjoyed everything, from the moment we got there to the moment we left... Their customer service was impeccable. The property was amazing and I’ll definitely be returning...
It was a fabulous experience and I will be back FOR SURE!
Friendly staff and beautiful facility. We stayed at a bungalow and it was cozy and beautiful. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection.
Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations with one exception... The food options were more limited than expected and there were almost no vegetarian options. That said, we were told that they were working on updating their selection. Otherwise, every aspect of our stay was beyond what we expected. The pictures simply don't do it justice and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We can't wait for our next staycation!
I would have given this hotel 5 stars across the board, but I had to give 4 on hotel facilities. When I arrived, after being in the air all day, at 9:15 p.m., the restaurant/bar/kitchen was closed, and there was no available room service. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, and I convinced myself it was like eating a fruit salad. :-) I understand the hotel is in the process of extending hours of the kitchen, so perhaps this will not be an issue on my next visit.
