There was some kind of mega convention in San Francisco this week and hotels were asking for north of $500 for a night. I just needed a place to stay for the evening and the Motel 6 was "only" around $200. The whole attitude was antagonistic and guarded. The staff seemed more suspicious than welcoming. Services were minimal. Will never come back.

No microwave no coffee maker no refrigerator no shampoo no conditioner. Give us a room on third floor with elevator out of order. We are over 65! Only one elevator is working and we have to go from building one to building three which is about 1/4 miles!

Check in was done virtually with an agent in another location which can be convenient but it also makes it hard to hear the agent with the volume being up high. The rims were clean but very basic and only 2 pillows. For a one night quick stay out was good for what was needed.
