I was staying in a junior suite so I had a small kitchenette to accommodate my specific diet. Within a few hours of being there all of my food was infested with ants and I had to throw it away and order replacements with ziplock bags to store it in from Instacart.
The pool area was very nice. The dining and bar area were very pleasant. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Definately stay here again.
I left a clothing item and called twice leaving messages with housekeeping lost and found . I was never called back.
The parking was convenient, there was a garage specifically for the hotel. I do not however understand why at least one car does not receive complementary parking since that is the case. That being said parking is an additional $25 per night per vehicle and if you are going to the Riverwalk you will want to Uber from this location or wear comfortable walking shoes and be in for a hike. Market street is within walking distance. The staff waa very friendly and accommodating. Lobby is great, the pool is small but nice as was the workout room. The rooms are older but nicely kept and the beds were cozy!
There was nothing that stood out about the property that I liked. Unfortunately, What I did not like was the the front desk staff person upon check in and later on my arrival back to the hotel after dinner, specifically Regina. Her demeanor was awful and rude totally not Hilton like. It was extremely refreshing to check out the following day with Marisa! She exhibited all of the Hilton qualities a guest should expect.
I stayed here for a business trip and I was really pleased with the amenities and appearance of my room and the building in general.
Easy check in and great room
I love staying at this hotel, staff is always friendly and professional. The environment is very welcoming and feels like a second home.
The hotel staff is not friendly and they do not tell you that packing is not free until you arrive on site. I had to pay $25 for parking at a hotel I never heard that before. The location is not near downtown at all. It is unsafe to walk anywhere around there.
I liked how staff was very responsive in anything I needed. I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking for 2 days and that they only clean the room if you are staying 3 nights or more.
Disappointing especially since my family works for this company! Worse double tree I have been to in my years
Called down for extra towels was told someone would bring them to the room and no one ever did
Checked into my room, showered and changed to go out for the night. Upon coming back at 2-3am I was not able to get back into my room. The card reader on the door had some issues. One employee tried helping but could not fix it. I had to wait until maintenance came in at 8am. I was not able to get back into my room until 8:45am.
Location & Cleanliness
Nice stay!! Convenient location to Riverwalk and Alamo but not walkable.. Reasonable Lyft prices though from location.. Will definitely stay here again
The atmosphere was great. The staff is awesome. But they can work on housekeeping. When i went down stairs to tell them what i needed done they left me a bag of towels near the door. They didn't even do the trash. But other then that the hotel was nice.
