Friendly staff greeted and oriented us to hotel and environs. The hotel is right next to the imposing courthouse and a short block to stairs down to the Riverwalk. Very convenient. Older property but clean, safe and quiet.

The entire hotel was in bad shape. The service staff was slow in their uptake and response times. Never enough towels. It was SUPER LOUD. The train, the traffic, the church light show and music, and the other tenants could be heard throughout the entire night. The crib we received was disgusting. The throw rug was dirtier than any ive ever seen. The floors were filthy. The bathroom vanity leaked everywhere. Towels had holes. Tiles in bathroom had chips and were razor sharp. Had to call twice and go downstairs for help with a problematic toilet. Shower leaked everywhere constantly. Not a great stay.

The pool was green but open for swimming. The room looked like it was destroyed. All of the electronics had missing buttons The tub was missing parts. The vanity was beat up The walls in the restroom were water damaged and poorly patched up everywhere in that room*. They moved us to another room which was clean and The staff was very very helpful. PsThe deposit is HIGH.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the River Walk. However, parking is only available through valet service, which adds to the overall cost and came as a bit of a surprise. The courtyard area around the pool is lovely, but unfortunately, the pool itself was hazy, so we weren’t able to use it. Hot water was not working well in our room (544).

Property was actually nice, seems a bit outdated but still nice. I will say need to do some deep carpet cleaning in the hallways, carpet smells like mildew. Rooms are nice and cozy and in a great location. Staff was amazing.
