Everything was excellent. Riverwalk is few minutes away, valet, breakfast all was great! The Only thing I had a problem with was the bathroom/closet sliding door… it slammed my fingers pretty bad… I would appreciate a bathroom door, not a sliding door that closes closet OR restroom intermittently. What we liked: - good value - free breakfast - pool - great location - management was responsive (though slow) to noise complaints What could be better: - the valet was pricey at $58 + tip (one night) - no hot tub, the pool is outdoor and unheated - the room floors were laminate/wood instead of carpet We would stay here again, but I think next time we'd find something further away from the "party area", better amenities and rooms, and with free or more affordable parking.

I chose the wrong day on my reservation and did not realize it was a no refund reservation. I switched days to the tight one. I called the hotel and they said it was possible for you to fix. I called Hotels.com who said that only the hotel could fix it. I’ve talked to the hotel people in person now, and they say that only you all can fix it. I would really like some help cancelling the two rooms for Dec31 Jan1 under Simanek. As a loyal customer, would you please help??? This is our family getaway and it’s a lot of money for us! $400! And regrettably, one of the receptionists was unhelpful, almost maliciously so, and the rooms were not ready at 4 when we tried to check in. I have never felt treated differently because I used Hotels.com until now.

We like the hotel because the location and newly renovations. The room we stayed was spacious and the room layout is very modern. We love it! The only thing I think they can improve is the number of staff. There was only one person at the counter during peak check-in and checkout time. The line can be long as well as the wait time. I was first in line, but the lady was doing some other paperwork that I still waited a long time. They should have have added more staffs. Plus I did not feel I was welcomed when checking in. When I think about San Antonio I think people are friendly, but not in this hotel.

We are very disappointed we checked in at 2:30 pm , and the room was not ready . We then came back at 5:00 pm and the room was still not ready , ghế view was ugly, and all I saw was the roofs of old mouldy buildings, we never be back again . How come they don’t deducted late check -in but still charging us for late check out. We went to St Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 Am mass the priest take us to go out to eat at Sp Café . Overall bad experience I will not be back ever .
