Pear Tree Inn San Antonio Airport

The hotel is close and convenient to the airport with a free shuttle. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

This hotel was located about 8 miles away from all the activities we planned. ( 8 miles being the farthest away) We did many throughout the stay. The breakfast was amazing as well...

Good room, large, big bath. GOod hospality hour with beer, wine and snacks. Very good breakfast.

Great stay! Free evening drinks and free breakfast!

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast foods were very old and inedible.

Staff and breakfast service were excellent. The room overall was only ok. Dual flush toilet didn't function, room was cold (couldn't control thermostat), tile or wood floor made room even colder, and vanity right inside front door was in an awkward position. Bathroom was cramped. Location was great for access to airport.

A solid 3-star hotel. Not fancy but not old or rundown, in fact some elements of the room seem quite new. Clean and Comfortable. Staff is friendly. You will not be disappointed.

We checked in after 9 pm. Last min check in. Great surprise. Hotel clean , colorful lobby, recently remodeled. Room, spacious, clean . Pool, needs to be open later. We had a wine and cheese provided by us. Had security and front desk advising us to leave pool numerous times, even though we were not inside water. Pool closes too early.

Very conviniet for business trip, just enough, could improve breakfast

Hotel was real nice. Service is great. Amenities are close by. Happy hour and breakfast are good.

The hotel was great, the amenities and the hospitality hour was a real plus. I will definately stay here again!

Rooms need to be updated. I had to move rooms three times because of odor. Staff was great. Breakfast not to great.

Located very close to airport. They allow free parking for duration of trip. Congenial staff. Clean rooms.

Ordinary. Good location. Out dated. Nice staff. Did I say good location?

Place was clean, quiet, close to airport and several restaurants.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was in a good spot for us as far as convenience and getting to the places we wanted to see. I would recommend it to friends.

I thought this was a little gem. I read the other online reviews and heard about the popcorn in the lobby, free drinks from 5:30-7 and wondered how good it could be. What a nice surprise! It was just as good as people said. The place is clean. Our room was nice, had both a microwave and refrigerator (our pricier hotel from the night before had neither!) and was attractive looking. They also included a nice breakfast featuring a waffle maker. (Our fancier, more expensive hotel from the night before did not include any breakfast.) They had ample seating for eating breakfast including a glassed in area at the end where you could look outside. The down side is that place does NOT have a scenic view being located right by the expressway. However, it was very quiet in our room. Quieter than our much pricier hotel also located near an expressway. They did have a courtyard with a pergola that you could look out on. It had a small fitness room where the equipment was in working order. The staff was polite and friendly. It was a great deal for the money.

I arrived after 14 hours of flying to find a comfortable room, pleasant staff, and complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening. It was very nice knowing that I didn't have to try to go out anywhere to get a little something to eat and a beer or two after a long day. The room is a bit dark, but overall, quite comfortable. It's not a Hilton, but I look for hotels in the Drury Inn chain whenever I can because I've never been disappointed. If you have a very early flight out the next morning, the breakfast doesn't start until 7, but when I left at 4:30am, they were already preparing things and I was able to grab a muffin or two and a cup of coffee before hopping the free shuttle back to the airport. I would definitely recommend giving the Pear Tree Inn, or any of the Drury chain, a try.

Excellent hotel for the price. We enjoyed the room and the amenities. However, the desk staff, who were very nice in every way had one big deficiency. They gave us bad directions about how to get to town by using public transportation. We wasted time trying and finally reverted to taking our car.

Staff was sincerely helpful and friendly:) Shuttle to and from airport and car rental was a lifesaver!!!
