This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. AC was broken, weather was 105. They offered a fan but it was still very hot. Lobby smelled like vomit day and night. Valet parking guy was rude, kept offering self parking even after I said I’d pay for valet. Not a welcoming location, expected more from holiday inn.
Bathroom was not clean when we got in
Nice location, clean and comfortable
Next to the riverwalk, restaurants and alamo.. walkable everywhere. Did not like the beds they where super small. They are for kids.. plus one bed fell sideways and front office never answer so I had to fix it myself..
The staff was really friendly.
I talk to the front desk personal about my need to be clean .I left all day and when Icame back to the rum it was the same way I left it .I call the fron deck and let then about what hapen and I was told .Will send you some clean taolls ok and hang up .
Close to everything and the Majestic Theatre for our concert.
Nice room very comfortable beds
The hotel was extremely dirty. When we first checked in the garbage can outside of the elevator had a dirty diaper and it smelled so bad. It was still there when we checked out two days later. The hallway carpets were filthy and guests just threw their garbage outside of their rooms and no one ever cleaned it up. The bathrooms in the room were filled with mold around the shower and on the toilet bowl flusher. The garage was filthy and i felt very unsafe. Not even the elevators were clean. There was trash just left there for days. I was shocked by the number of homeless that slept on the hotel property on the Riverwalk side and the overwhelming smell of urine outside of the hotel made it unbearable to leave via the Riverwalk side. I would never sry here again and despite the sweet girls at the front desk they didn’t do anything even though we told them over abs over about all of the trash and broken coffee machine. This hotel was so disappointing and i couldn’t wait to leave. We would have left sooner if we could find another hotel for the 6 of us.
Aside from the hotel being nice and clean…the staff were hands down a pleasure! From the front desk to the wait staff. We even met the GM and left the hotel having made a new friend named Kim She was part of the wait staff and a pleasure to meet. This place has some of the most genuinely friendly people I’ve ever met.
I love the hotel The View the parking and the staff was great I can't wait to go back
Hotel was messy and smelled bad I checked in with my family and booked 4 rooms. The first room was Non smoking and smelled awful it also had a huge stain on bed. We asked for a new room and felt very brushed off , the second room on the same floor also smelled awful and we had to ask for a 3rd replacement room. We had to pay an additional 27 for each vehicle. I would recommend avoiding this hotel!!!
We enjoyed the breakfast, if you pay for it. We did not expect the coffee machine to be unusable because it was so dirty. We did not expect the room to be dusty and not thoroughly cleaned. We did not expect to be kept awake by a loud party on the terrace that even after calling the front desk was not stopped, went on until after midn3.
Beautiful Viewing
The hotel did a good job. The location of the hotel helped a lot for the Riverwalk. We didn’t have to walk far so we were not tired by the time we got to enjoy. A great stay at the hotel. Thank your staff and management.
I was told at check in restaurant/bar was open until 10pm. Went up there at 8:45 and they said they were closing early. Swimming pool very small. No luggage carts available, staff told me I would have to find one. No coffee as advertised in lobby. Update web site, it's been over a year since covid hit.
Location was perfect. Close to everything we wanted to see and do.
Everything was perfect. I was nervous since it was the day after Christmas, but loved it
