I mean, it was a last minute bed to lay our heads. The lock on our door was missing. The AC filter had mold and grime stuck to it. The pool was a literal cesspool with dark green and black water with broken fence pieces, broken rusty ACs, rusty shopping carts and trash all around it. Our room didn’t come with half the amenities listed and when we went to ask for them we were turned down. The wifi wasn't working either night. Super limited parking. Breakfast was 1 limited waffles machine, bran cereal and empty coffee pots. Toilet paper holder was not properly attached to wall. Housekeeping was not available during stay. It's a decent motel for a last minute place to lay your head. The fridge worked well.
Customer service desk was excelent Only problem the smoking room because were not available non smoking
Upon arrival, the first thing I find out is that the ice maker is broken. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell. The telephone did not work, and you could not set the alarm clock. The bed was very uncomfortable. The restroom, shower, and linens were all very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The overall cost was $50 less than the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn across the street.
was a nice short weekend stay! would stay there again! short drive to downtown and to the pier/shorline dr. and all the eateries in town.
not the best neighborhood, with some noisy businesses close by. but very accessible to the city and bay via crosstown expressway, good mexican restaurant across the street, and very clean, comfortable room.
Nothing exciting, just did the job for sleeping and hanging out briefly
I stayed at this hotel labor day weekend 2012 in room 110. The reviews are all over the place about this hotel so I was kind of worried before my arrival about the room. In my opinion the room was acceptable given the price. If you plan on staying in your room and being pampered by the hotel amenities the whole time, you may want to stay somewhere else. But if you are looking just for a place to sleep and then go out and enjoy the sites it's a decent place to stay. The rooms have seen better days, but we didn't come to see Super 8 hotel rooms, we came to enjoy Corpus Christi. It's just an average hotel, but that's what we expected and that's what we paid for.
We had a great stay the hotel was quiet and clean!just a few miles from everywhere we wanted to go.
great location near shoreline
Had to go to a graduation, so it was convenient, however I had higher expectations for the price. The room was sub standard from other Best Westerns I have stayed at. That was disapointing. We left very early, not even the breakfast was inviting. Sorry BW, you didnt pass the test this time.
