The 5 star hotel , but no including for exclusive guest about the sauna and hot poor water. The food restaurant for all you can eat need improvement. We have to wait too long almost 3 hours

1. We were assigned a room next bldg to beach but was put into another room due to it being occupied. 2. We were essentially downloaded considering where we ended up. Center of resort by main road. 3. We even showed & shared we were there celebrating our 25th anniversary. 4. The room we ended up in had issues. Fridge not stocked, no robes or slippers. Never got slippers even though mentioned each day. 5. Tub had loose pieces from jet. 6. Ac & fridge shuts off when no movement in room. 7. Food was ok. The breakfast & lunch was the same every place and day 8. The Japanese Teppanki is a joke! Do NOT go! It will taint your experience of true Teppanki 9. Room service ends at 11! Especially when they have couple of events from 12! 10. Disco should play music for the masses for more familiarity

This hotel is a valuable place to stay at for the price. Check-in was extremely slow and frustrating, over 1 hour after check-in time and our room was still not ready and it wasn't until we complained that we got different rooms and even then they weren't even the correct rooms. Food is not the best so nothing to write home about. Drinks are good and strong. Nice beach front and area, pools are nice. There's also an adult only pool should you want to stay away from children.

My girlfriend and I stayed 8 nights (was here also in 2014) and had a nice time. Room was large and clean, nice hot water for showers. Safe and refridg in the room, and plenty of pools with bars near the room. Ocean close by and beach beautiful with plenty of lounging chairs. Food pretty good, disco so-so but fun. I would go back again.

Our money was taken. Simple as that. Dishonest people. Never again.

The hotel is beautiful and the beach is great. We stayed 6 nights and went to Sunset Disco and the Theater. Each night was a different show and always enjoyed it. The food was good.Always you can find something in buffet restaurant although we went La Carts restaurants. We liked the Italian and Gourmet Restaurants. The only convenience was the people trying to sell cigars, cups and excursions on the beach

To start with this is a copy of my letter to Pallidum corporate. After three atempts to talk to them they forward my complaint to the same manager/wardon who made our a vacation more like a trip to prison. He now tells ne he will upgrade us next time, but refused to just change our rooms to ones not under constructions this year. Why would I go back???... IT WAS HORRIBLE. Why would I go back? YOu offering me an upgrade is like offering me a rotten bowl of fruit. This is roughly my future and ongoing review short your personal responce in the next few days. (heres my review real people) We stayed at Palladium as a family of four for our summer vacation this year. We paid for an 8 night stay and did not arrive untill the day after the first day we had paid for. Our plane was delayed. Not the hotels fault and we had no problem paying for the night we missed. We were still made to wait for our room until a couple hours after standard check in the day after which would have been bad but the fact we had paid for the night before and our room was given to another that we had to wait to be cleaned is ridiculous. I explained to manager and he refused to acknowledge that we were waiting more than two hours after check in. NO NO we paid for 26 hours prior. We didnt ask for a refund that night but by god it should have been ready for us. We were denied an upgrade and offered a fruit basket (slap in the face) which never came. Our next three nights had no television service. Still no room change possible. Two days later our main bar and main pool with secondary bar closed. No compensation. (Sorry main bar was virtually closed with bottled soda and few spirits.) We had to walk to neighboring sister bars and pools. We were not allowed on trollies because we were not members of adult resort. One trolley was designated for our place and three others but filled quickly and passed us up. The empty ones for the Royal and time share club also passed us. We literally had to walk a mile for a swim or drink. Our weak air conditioner completely broke pouring water on to our belongings. Still nothing. We would wait in line for a restaurant for an hour and have Spanish or non whites pulled from the line way behind us up to eat. We were basically forced to do all buffets and I do not exaggerate when I say not once were we brought drinks at the table in buffet. We had to get them our-self and were twice scolded for using the coke machine! But nobody helped us! & WE TIP! We were treated like garbage. Now I get home and voice a complaint to corporate and am first scolded for not demanding and up grade (which again we requested but were denied) but offered an upgrade on a future stay to a place I would not go if I was paid to. It was a robbery of my money. Robbery of my vacation time and instilled a feeling of inferiority to my american children when traveling abroad. Perhaps that's what Palladium wants. The corporate keeps referring me back to a manager who was as mean as he could be when we were there and now offers me a upgrade when I return . No thanks Id rather shove a meat loaf in my eye then go back there. Upgrade ??? How do they upgrade white steerage? Give us a rotten fruit bowl? The staff for the most part was rude or ignored us. A few good bartenders that I connected with but that place embraces no if you are american and white. Last year we were at a NON PALLIDUM Jamica place everything was no problem our several visits to mexico were the same. Not sure if its DR or Pallidum but I would never ever consider a return. I tend to believe its Pallidum as they have failed to respond to me and just keep giving me the manager AKA wardon of the place who scold me about not demanding TO HIM an upgrade. And slaps my face offering an upgrade in the future. STAY AWAY FROM PALLADIU IF YOU ARE A AMERICAN WHITE FAMILY! Feel free to contact me if you have questions. I left out about 15 other very bad problems we had trying to keep it simple.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days with my family, and the only thing I could say is that it was great experience, the service, shows, location and what I really appreciate the most was the kindness of the hard working employees. I can't wait to go back!

The hotel was nice, food great, and overall stay was great. It's not a 5-star hotel but you it's a great value for what you pay for. Most the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be nice.

- Check in time was ridiculously long - Restaurant experience was bad service. Rodizio Brazilian almost get knife in my face from argument with bad attitude waitress - Lock on door went bad and had to wait 1 hour to have it fixed - No room service for spray and oils. Had to go to lobby to get - BAD SERVICE ALL AROUND

If your reservation is not at the Royal Suites you will not be able to make reservations at some of the "PREMIUM" restaurants like their Steakhouse, Italian, Mexican. If you were not able to make reservations you could wait in line to maybe get table or you can always get into the BUFFET. Remember if you are going to go to the "PREMIUM" restaurants NO SHORTS, NO TANKS are allowed into those restaurants. Also if you reservation are at the Royal Suites you get a better class of alcohol to drink and there are also less or no children running around the pools.

I vacation with a group of friends every year and we were very happy with our trip this year. We were upgraded to the Royal Suites which meant there were no kids in the pool or the suite area which is great for an all adult vacation. Overall the food was good, with the exception of the Italian and Brazilian restaurants which were horrible food and service wise. Whatever anyone tells you make reservations for dinner because if you don't you'll never get a table. If are looking for casino time on your vacation I do not recommend the casino at this resort - it's horrible, but the Hard Rock casino is a 20 minute cab ride away and will serve the purpose.

Everything was very good to excellent. They couldn't find our reservations for 11 hours but they covered well in between.

We were a group of five families. Three families had to switch rooms because of air condition problems. One family had to switch rooms twice. Had frequent incidents of the water cutting off while In the shower. Rooms were very average. Food was average. Nothing to do at night.

The Palladium its a huge complex, with many things to do. There is a very large beach connecting to other hotels, which can be walked for quite some time in both directions. The beach and water are top notch. Due to the size of the complex, it is difficult to see everything and do everything at the resort, unless you stay a LONG time. The service provided by staff at restaurants, beaches, and bars was average at best.

i just got back from here 2 days ago. it was the most incredible place i have ever been. the grounds were spotless, the rooms were great (could have used a little update but were still very clean) the pools were AMAZING. the staff, the nicest people i have EVER met, they would bend over backwards for you and catered to your every need, Faustin at the front desk was incredible. from the second we checked in he remembered our names and would always say hi to us even if he was with other people. the beach was breathtaking. the entertainment teams for the beach and the pool were incredible. the food in the main buffett was awsome, but the smaller buffets were not as good, the restaurants were very good, 4 course meals everynight. the disco (dance club) was alot of fun. the sports bar was great. it was good to have somepleace to get food 24 hrs a day becuase sometimes the excursions we did we missed a meal. the only thing i wish i had done was bring alot more american money in cash form (especially 1's). it was difficult to change over money from the atm i would highly HIGHLY recommend this place. im already planning a return trip for next year with some friends and will not even bother looking at other resorts. INCREDIBLE!

The staff is extremely nice except at the front desk, who is normally busy and probably inundated with unreasonable requests from guests that forget this is a cheap hotel. Our room was very clean, but had some minor issues. There were some bugs, and our water pressure wasn't great in the shower. The food/waitstaff was good for breakfast, just okay for lunch and excellent at the specialty restaurants for dinner. I suspect that the liquor was watered down quite a bit, but we put in the extra effort to make up for it. Bavaro seemed to be the best choice for us, since Palace only got one exclusive restaurant/pool. I don't think we would've paid extra for the nicer room assuming that that's also part of it. This was my second trip to Punta Cana. I went to Ocean Blue & Sand in 2006. This hotel was much better than that one, but I suspect they have all gotten much better in the past 5 years.

The resort was at a great location. The beach was perfect and there were tons of activities tailored to all people of all ages!

Check out the snorkeling and para-sailing! You don't even have to leave the resort to book this, and the prices are reasonable.

Rooms were old and bedding is stinky. Shower did not work properly, water would go everywhere. all [...] travlers are directed to bldg 2000 which is the oldest building on the premises. The carts and or train(rubber tire)is a joke. You will wait and wait for a cart forever. Attitude of train driver is horrible,he is more interested in smoking and hustling lady tourists than doing his job. The buffets(all three of them) are bad.eggs are burnt and bacon is raw. The specialty resturants however are very good. The attitude of the travel coordinator for [...]was very poor. Didnt want to help you and was very difficult to find. Gave us bad info about our return ground transportation. We are very frequent travelers taking about 6 trips per year and this is one of the worst trips ever experenced. This was our third trip to punta cana alone. The palladium in jamacia is wonderful go there instead. The first cleaning lady we had was great(we tipped her well) the second cleaning lady was terrible. The hotel manager was very helpful once we complained of all of our problems and give 2 of our companions a free massage....however the spa would not accept them. The alcohol selections are at a minimum. One type beer, no bourbon, would make a minimum of blended drinks.etc. Beach bartender [...]and hemingway bartender [...]tried their best to accomodate us. They both had great attitudes.
