Rooms were outdated. Bathtub leaked all over the room. No televisions worked, no phones in the room and totally impossible to get a dinner reservation.
We stayed from 8/13 to8/20 Hotel is HUGE! Food is great . Beach could be better
This is our second time here. The first time was in 2018 and it was an exceptional service. This time, it was horrible. We arrived and the room was hot. We reported it and nobody came to check. So finally we transferred to another room.(after 4 hours).. yay for a little bit. The toilet would not flush. Guy came to try to fix it and had an obvious upset attitude like we bothered him for calling. It was not really fixed but he taught us how to "make it work"! This was already almost 10 pm (our first night). Then one time we requested 2 bottles of drinking water, again waited 3 hours (after 3 follow up calls with 1 hour interval)even if we were told it would be delivered in " few minutes". These are all basic requests and it was not like we were so demanding. We were sooooo patient with them. NOT COMING BACK!!
Place is safe, staff is friendly and helpful. Food is OK.
Beautiful resort, meticulously kept up to high standards. Amazing staff always going out of their way for you to relax and get you anything that you would need. The food was excellent with many choices.

Very large and nice pool however, very very rude staff. When I checked in, the woman kept asking my girlfriend who is dominican how she knew me, how long we have been dating and all these ridiculous questions because she is dominican and I am American thinking she is a hooker or something. We have been together over a year. If it was not in spanish and heard, I would have swore at her and called the manager over. Absolutely terrible way to check in...oh...and hair in the bathtub too
the manager was rude. the staff especially marielly from the receptionist was excellent she helped us with my stay at the hotel be pleasant

This was my second time staying at the Grand Palladium Palace. The first stay left a grand impression, hence my return. I had room 8412 loft suite and 8313 garden view rooms. To start check in took about an hour. I arrived earlier than normal check in time so was just happy that 1/2 rooms was ready. The only complaint I had about room 8412 is that mosquitoes were everywhere. The window was left open allowing them to come in. Fortunately we had off spray so no need to complain. Once I checked into room 8313, everything started to go wrong. Day 1 we discovered only 2 outlets were working(1 in bathroom and 1 near tv) however we had a breathing machine that needed to be plugged in near the bed. A call was made to maintenance and within 3 hours it had been fixed. The dinner in la torres was horrible. Day 2 we booked excursions because there is not any entertainment doing the day (on the last visit they had animation crew that kept it live and fun). After eating Italian(again not good) we retired to our room. We had loss of power and after 5 minutes the generator kicked in. After another 5 minutes the generator failed and we was in darkness for atleast 4-5 hours. It ended up being a early night but my friend had the worst end because she couldn’t use her breathing machine ( pure negligence on the hotel end. It’s a 5 star resort with generator failure. Glad she didn’t have a episode of sleep apnea and not woke up. Would’ve been a big lawsuit. However I digress).
The property is nice, four hotels in the same area with free transportation between each. There are two things that really needs improvement at this hotel. 1. They are always running behind you trying to get you to go their meeting to become a member.... they lied to me saying that they will give me tour of the property since it's my first day, so i went with them. I ended up sitting thru a sales pitch to become a member which is for $25000. But if i sign up that moment then it's $18000. When i told the guy im not ready to make that commitment he give me that nasty look and just get up and leave. 2. There needs to be more option for vegetarians at breakfast and lunch. Steamed vegetables, vegetable pizza and baked beans is not enough to eat every breakfast and lunch for a week. Beach is good, property well maintained, friendly and helpful staff. I would go again if there is better food.
Language barior. Not enough English spoken including at shows. Lack of seating along walk ways or when waiting for trolley. Need bench everywhere. Too few choices for beer. Coors lite would have been great. Did not know what shows where going to be until you showed up at theater would have benn nice to know what was going before going to theater. Did thing with travelers club and never received gifts.
Location near beach and lot of activity on site. No need to go outside resorts
The Beach is beautiful, only plus for this resort.
We loved our private swim up bar- and how close our room was to the beach. We loved this resort and all the staff- we had an amazing experience.
