Big stains in the carpet, hair in the shower, hotel price for a low end motel facility, loud and ineffective air conditioner, and seedy... but really nice staff.
Easy access to downtown or the 405, clean room, pleasant staff, no frills - basic hotel room with microwave, fridge and hairdryer.

This is a great hotel to stay at on a budget. It is situated about a 20 minute walk from downtown, so not dead central, a bus ride from Union Street station and a 20 minute cab ride from the airport. I had a huge double bed in my room with a fridge and microwave, tea and coffee station, hairdryer and iron/ironing board. My room was on the main road, but adequately sound-proofed. There was a simple continental breakfast provided downstairs with disposable tableware. Suki's bar and Grill is downstairs too where there is nightly karoake entertainment and late night food too. The Tuesday night comedy had some professional commedians too and would definitly recommend. Tony on reception was particularly helpful and suggested The Portland Bar and Grill downtown for excellent city views. It didn't disapoint and was excellent value. There are a few restaurants and bars nearby, under 10 minutes away if you don't feel like making the trip into town.
Old property but clean. Location near major highways is a plus. Homeless people camping nearby.

There was traffic noise, the clerk was cool and helpful, the room was clean and bed was comfortable.
If it looks like a dump and smell like a dump it is a dump ! Worse travel lodge I stayed at. Very noisy as it is located between very busy intersection ( freeway) run down . Sad ! The room needs remodeling . Heater cannot be adjusted ! Either hot in the room or cold ! WiFi is too weak and goes in and out ! I was told that is because room 10 is the furthest from hotel! The hotel isn’t 1/2 empty, why put me in a noisy room and with no WiFi?! Breakfast? Where ? will never return there - The front desk clerk was the sunshine of the hotel with big smile and friendly ! Just kidding !
Throwback to the 80s, not much is updated. Shuttle was convenient that’s about it.
The hotels was overpriced for what it was. We found cigarrete butts under the bed, so if they don't vaccum well enough, can you trust they do a better job cleaning the rest of the room?. For the price we paid we would've expected at least decent coffee and pastries on what they call "continental breakfast".
This was a very decent hotel. Location was great, there was a bar/restaurant downstairs. The parking lot was very full and twice we pulled into the last spot. Our room had a mini fridge and was pretty comfortable.
