Overall a great hotel. One row of rooms have a great view of the river. Spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Nice staff. One negative was that during the time of our stay, the hotel was placing additional furniture (to accommodate a fridge and a microwave in every room) in *EACH* of the rooms on the *SAME* floor. The process they went about doing it was bad. They tried to do this for all the rooms at the exact same time, during the peak hour of breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9:00 AM. And very soon, the entire 5th floor hallway turned into an obstacle course. Plus the staff were trying to carry the furniture on the dolly in the same set of elevators used by the guests. It was ugly and very unsafe -- kids were running around at the same time as the staff were trying to navigate the furniture among a number of guests waiting for the elevator. The hotel could have handled the furniture move and placement a lot better. I did speak to the front desk staff -- but i am not sure if they took my advise to do the furniture move later, because, when I returned about an hour later to my room, I saw the entire hallway had already become an obstacle course with all the furniture waiting to be placed. So, I assume they didn't listen to me. But for this one time (which happened to be at the same time as my stay), the hotel is a great hotel with a great value.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good in the morning enjoyed the cookies they had out. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was clean. The area has lots of places to eat and shopping. I enjoyed my stay there will differently use it again.

first time in Pittsburgh, will definitely be back! nice hotel in a great location!

We were in town during the Memorial Day weekend for a family funeral. This hotel is in a great location. Our room was clean and quite spacious. I would recommend to anyone visiting Pittsburgh that this is a great place to stay.

I was in town for my daughter's birthday. I love the location, the Homestead waterfront has many things to do and good restaurants as well. We saw a movie together-the theater is right across the street. We had dinner at Bravo with friends, and it was excellent. We also love the PF Chang's, and there was plenty of opportunities to shop. The Hampton Inn was very nice, and situated right along the river, which is a beautiful setting. There is a very nice bike trail right there as well.

Trip was great. Front desk was extremely helpful with questions and very friendly. Did not get to use the pool and or hot tub, but looked very clean. The room was clean, however we were put into the handicapped room. Breakfast was extremely busy around 10am. The staff were doing a great job at replenishing the food and keeping everything in stock. Overall, I would come back to this hotel and location for a future trip.

I have no complaints about the hotel. It was very clean, and the rooms were very nice. Our room had a beautiful view. The staff were very nice!

From the time we walked in for check in til we checked out, the people working the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast in the morning, which was more than just your typical cereal/danish, was pretty good. There was only one thing I was disappointed in. Walking in and just looking at the room, it looks very nice and clean. I went with a couple of my friends and we decided to play cards which required a table.. so we pulled the nightstand out from the wall in between the beds... it had been like it was the first time it was ever pulled out... There was garbage under it, a small, yet very dead bug and other small stuff.. I would definitely recommend this hotel again, great staff, breakfast, amenities and in a nice quiet location with a nice shopping area close by, they just need to focus on the obvious places to clean, as well as the less obvious places under the dresser/bed/nightstand.

Hotel was great location for restarants and shopping. Also a movie theater. Room was clean and comfy-only thing missing was a refrigerator. Was close to downtown(10 min drive).

I stay at this hotel often for business. The rooms are clean, comfortable and clearly maintained well. The location is really nice with dining, shopping, etc. within walking distance. I would certainly - and have - recommended this hotel.

Our was great-in fact, when I travel I always aim to stay at a Hampton Inn. The staff are courteous and attentive, the rooms are clean and the amenities are great, plus the coffee and breakfast really a plus! As their slogan goes "Hamptonality"-it's hard to beat!

This hotel had a great location after the the crazy traffic in Pittsburg, a great shopping area, restaurants, and theatre within walking distance.

After a day of moving in a college student, the Hampton was a perfect place to return too. Very clean and cool and smelled nice too! Thank you Hampton Inn & Suites!
