Within an hour of checking in the maid opened the door (with out knocking) and walked right in to ask if we needed towels. I told her we just checked in and she stood in the room continuing to ask if we needed extra towels. I had to ask her to leave before she moved. The toilet did not flush, the bathtub could not be used due to a chipped bottom (4 inches wide the length of the tub was gone). The room smelled horrible and the furniture was very old. The price of the room was much higher then what it should have been under the circumstances. I am not happy to have paid $158 for a room that should have been a $40 a night room. Very disappointing.

This is an old place and it looks the part. The room was clean, but looked like everything was 30 years old. The view of the courtyards was really nice. The pool was also nice.

Lobby and pool looked just like the pictures. Rooms were dirty and smelled. Bullitt hole in patio door window. Drug addicts hanging out on stairwell. Did not fell at all safe.

This is a tired hotel that needs a major refresh/redo, especially at a price of over $200 a night. The woodwork is scuffed, the bathroom tile worn, the towels thin and rough, the rug a dark brown and I don’t think a thrift shop would take the desk it was so banged up. We had to sit out on the porch to get WiFi and we could not turn the porch light off. I am glad we were there only one night.

The room we were in was in need of major upgrades. The bathtub, sink and floor were outdated and felt dirty, the whole room felt dirty. The counters on the vanity had not been wiped down nor the counter in the suite area. For the cost of the room I would have expcected a much nicer cleaner room. Also, the WiFi was not working properly. The offered "breakfast" was also inadequate. Needless to say we left as soon as we could.

The hotel room was dirty, the tub had treatment to cover the old tub color with white but it was peeling off and the shower curtain had holes in it just from age and was disintegrating. We were attending a funeral and had food that we were going to deliver so we ordered a kitchenette to make sure we could refrigerate it. I opened the door and cockroaches scrambled. I asked the front desk for some spray and an extra pillow and they said that they didn't have either. We went and bought some! The next morning, as I reached to turn off the alarm, there was another one that I caught under the glass and left with a note to the hotel that maybe something should be done. I am a VERY easy customer but this was literally the worst that I have slept in. Carpets were dirty and stained, walls unpainted and dirty and the "heater" sounded like a DC-10 trying to take off. As I checked out, I again told the front desk about the issues and she offered me another room? Really? I was checking out after two days and that was never offered before? We asked but we get the request by a beautiful young lady as we return to California. Crazy!

Arrived at the hotel around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday the 23rd of December, 2017. We were placed at the back side of the hotel where it looked very getto and unsafe. As we entered the room, the carpet has stains, the bed spread had cigarette burns and this was a non-smoking room, a couple of bugs were on the night stand, soap, shampoo and lotion were very low standards, the TV was a 27" box style from the 60's, the refrigerator and microwave were extremely old and yellowish. The pillows looked like they had not been washed. No security was anywhere in site. Loud music all night from the other rooms, someone pounded on our door late that night as they were passing by. There was people arguing and they were smoking, drinking and loud music all night. There were children being yelled at and a baby crying.

No smoking room was everything terrible and disappointingly not smoke free

The only thing I was not happy about is the breakfast had to eat in the eatting area couldn't take to room I'm not a kid

It was all just lovely i had no issues at this hotel

Friendly staff Nice breakfast Clean rooms Very organized

Hotel is close to just about anything you want to see or do. Clean, friendly, mostly quiet.

This place is not clean an room carpets are very old. Even you asked for non smoking rooms you get rooms with the smell of smoking . Area also not nice and felt unsafe to be there .

Got to hotel room and it was dirty and smelled like smoke. I asked for a nonsmoking room. The floors were disgusting and there was a bullet hole in curtain. We walked away from the room wastin our money with no way for a refund. There was no way to contact Orbitz.

Bathroom had broken toilet seat, burnt out light bulb, torn shower curtain, dirty curtain rod. Took 12 hours & 2 calls to get some of it fixed.

Old hotel in an old part of town. Area use to be for drug users. Still could be.

It's pretty rundown from our 1st stay here. A simple coat of paint and updated t.v.s would be a great start. If you are looking to stay here because they list available smoking rooms, don't count on it. I have reserved a smoking allowed room at least 3 different times over the last 4 years, but when checking in they have never had one for me. They have never apologized nor offered any sort of compensation. The continental breakfast is not appealing at all.

The pictures online is not what you see when you get here run down totally and not safe here someone tried to break into our room at 3:00 in the morning and the staff did nothi

Excellent, love this hotel. Always my first & favorite place to stay at

My only complaint would be breakfast which lacked a healthy choice such as oatmeal, fruit, or even a non-white piece of toast. Room was worth the price without breakfast so I will still stay again.
