This hotel is rated higher than I would rate it. Upon arriving, you learn that there's Weston Valet Parking for you right at the door. Once you turn over your car and go inside for check-in, you learn that the valet parking is an additional $29+ per day, which wasn't on the hotel website or any review I had read. The room was clean and nice, but the TV was rather small and dated for an upscale hotel. Only one restaurant in the hotel which was under reconstruction and definitely over priced. A simple eggs and coffee breakfast for two came to over $35. All in all a nice enough hotel facility, but enough negative surprises and extras to make this a place we would not stay again.
If you get a room where you can go to the lounge it is amazing!! But the pool is definitely disappointing.
Room was excellent, pool was not what was expected only 3feet deep. Gift shop only open upon request that was weird.
This was a very nice hotel in the heart of downtown. I went to see a Diamondbacks game, and the location was ideal for easily getting to and from the game. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice.
Wonderful, clean hotel. The room was HUGE! Stayed at the Palomar previously and this was so much better and way cheaper. Would definitely stay again!
Arrived later in town Friday evening and headed over from Sky Harbor. Accommodations were excellent, view stunning, and the staff friendly. Only bit that would keep this from a higher rating is the lack of complimentary parking.
Very clean and friendly staff everything is walking distance.... $25 for valet parking. Thai Basil was near by which is very good
Front desk very friendly. ..didn't know that parking is $28 valet even if your a guest there
I've stayed here 3 times now and will keep coming back. I truly enjoyed this hotel.
Our room was 1st class, spacious and immaculate, with a great view of downtown Phoenix. Staff was very friendly. Convenient location from airport.
Hotel itself was awesome staff was a little slow on acting on things. Got lied to about parking. They have a mandatory $28 vallet parking but for one night you don't need it one 1 min call cost me almost $10 don't use there phone.
Ok the hotel itself was great. My problem was that O/rbits did not send my information to the hotel and they didn't have my reservation in their system. They needs to work on this problem so that It doesn't happen again. The hotel on the other hand was very nice; it was new and clean and had a friendly staff.
We were not comfortable. This hotel is most for business people. I do not recommended for family. Too plain.
The location of the hotel is ideally located and very close to my meeting place. The staff is well trained to attend to the needs of guests A well maintained hotel with large rooms I certainly enjoys my stay
Stayed here when I couldn't get a room at my conference hotel. So glad that happened! The Westin offers a tranquil, quiet, soothing experience that was the perfect antidote to crowded conference chaos. The huge room, friendly staff, and the great food and drinks in Province kept me comfy and happy. (Get the duck meatballs with a glass of dry rosé, and any drink using the chorizo-and-bleu-cheese-stuffed olives.) Appreciated the various green options as well, especially being able to cancel housecleaning.
I was traveling for a wedding and the services that they provided was beyond expected. this is the best hotel in the metro area if you can afford it, its a place to relax.
This is a relatively new hotel which opened in early 2011. Everything is brand new and very modern. Thermotstat in the room could use some improvement, but otherwise the room was great. There's a rain shower, HD television, and a docking station for your iPad/iPhone/iPod which can charge it and interface with the television in the room.
My friend and I stayed at the Westin after taking a week long road trip to the four corners area. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and well-appointed, and the hotel is close to great restaurants, museums and a movie theatre if you want to escape the summer heat. The bar was also a lot of fun - perfect ending to our adventure!
