The check-in was great. The hotel was great. The only problem I had was waking up with spider bites on my arms and body. One of them was particularly huge and also showed up on the body scan at the time of departure at the airport. I was a bit surprised when the security people found it on the scan and had to feel it to be sure it was not a weapon. I mentioned the spider bites to the front desk when checking out and showed the clerk one on my arm. She agreed that it was a spider and said they will check the room. No discussion of the treatment or the pain and suffering. I have never stayed in a hotel that had spiders on the fifteenth floor and so was shocked. Maybe that is the way it is in Phoenix. Black widow, Brown recluse, or God forbid, something worse. It is still painful, inflamed, and draining. I am treating it.

I have maintained a decades-long preference for WESTIN resorts and hotels. The Downtown Phoenix didn't disappoint. I shall return .

Great location. Comfortable and modern. Excellent customer service. Room service is overpriced. Parking is expensive.

Location, staff, property all very nice. Easy walk to sports venues. Short Ubers to ofher downtown dining, airport. Safety after dark not an issue . Homeless prevalent. Was not happy with an entire Saturday afternoon pool closing. Lobby bar and restaurant just OK.

This is the second time I booked this hotel. This is the second time there was no luggage cart available upon arrival. It took a long time for them to find one. Meanwhile, I waited with my sister, her infant and toddler while it got later and later. The valet staff was very nice this time, but last time they were very rude. Last time I had to wait for a cart, through no fault of my own, and the valet staff wasn’t happy. But I will stick to this trip; I checked in (pleasant and quick), then went to my room with one piece of luggage since the luggage cart was still unavailable. There was a disgusting, old tray of food by the door. I went inside cautiously thinking someone may be inside, but the room was empty. There were a couple pieces of garbage in the bathroom trash and the towels were disheveled. One washcloth was still damp. I asked for a switch of towels and the front desk was very quick to send someone, however, I was worried about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The people next door we’re having a party and we woke up to loud music, banging and extremely loud talking and yelling at 3:15am or so. I called the front desk. They sent security, which took a bit (maybe just felt like it because my sister also woke up and we were afraid it would wake up her children). We heard security knock on the door. The music was turned down, but the walls seem very thin. We could still hear them, they became progressively louder and I had to call security again. Kids woke up.

Professional and friendly staff. Spacious and impeccable rooms. Very good bar and restaurant. Too flight.

relaxing and enjoyable!!! relaxing and enjoyable!!!

Wonderful and luxurious as always and our home in phoenix

This hotel is rated higher than I would rate it. Upon arriving, you learn that there's Weston Valet Parking for you right at the door. Once you turn over your car and go inside for check-in, you learn that the valet parking is an additional $29+ per day, which wasn't on the hotel website or any review I had read. The room was clean and nice, but the TV was rather small and dated for an upscale hotel. Only one restaurant in the hotel which was under reconstruction and definitely over priced. A simple eggs and coffee breakfast for two came to over $35. All in all a nice enough hotel facility, but enough negative surprises and extras to make this a place we would not stay again.

If you get a room where you can go to the lounge it is amazing!! But the pool is definitely disappointing.

Room was excellent, pool was not what was expected only 3feet deep. Gift shop only open upon request that was weird.

This was a very nice hotel in the heart of downtown. I went to see a Diamondbacks game, and the location was ideal for easily getting to and from the game. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice.

Wonderful, clean hotel. The room was HUGE! Stayed at the Palomar previously and this was so much better and way cheaper. Would definitely stay again!

Arrived later in town Friday evening and headed over from Sky Harbor. Accommodations were excellent, view stunning, and the staff friendly. Only bit that would keep this from a higher rating is the lack of complimentary parking.

Very clean and friendly staff everything is walking distance.... $25 for valet parking. Thai Basil was near by which is very good

Front desk very friendly. ..didn't know that parking is $28 valet even if your a guest there

I've stayed here 3 times now and will keep coming back. I truly enjoyed this hotel.

Our room was 1st class, spacious and immaculate, with a great view of downtown Phoenix. Staff was very friendly. Convenient location from airport.

Hotel itself was awesome staff was a little slow on acting on things. Got lied to about parking. They have a mandatory $28 vallet parking but for one night you don't need it one 1 min call cost me almost $10 don't use there phone.

Ok the hotel itself was great. My problem was that O/rbits did not send my information to the hotel and they didn't have my reservation in their system. They needs to work on this problem so that It doesn't happen again. The hotel on the other hand was very nice; it was new and clean and had a friendly staff.
