It was nice. My hotel stay was great I enjoyed myself

worst hotel i've ever stayed in. Dirty, outdated, broken lamp, no bathtub drain stopper. Ice machine has been broken for "months" according to the maid. It should be torn down.

Decent breakfast options. Fruit and yogurt and healthy cereal. Good coffee. Desk staff was nice and helpful. Room needs some attention, hinge needs oil on door, bathroom fan cover missing. Fan in room drew in cigarette smoke from outside.

I would never stay here again, and wouldn't really recommend anyone else does either. The room was dirty and smelled of smoke. Key cards were constantly being re-keyed by being too close to a phone. Terrible area. Bed had blood stains on mattress cover. Holes in wall, cigarette holes in shower curtain, dirty. I actually found another room at another hotel. Did not match photos at all.

The only nice thing was the parking lot.. there was nothing that stood out!

Our room had no blow dryer or smoke detector and small pillows to sleep on.

Location was excellent - close to downtown and to metro station. Staff was awesome. Room was in a poor condition and not clean nicely.

It was close to the location I needed to travel to the next day. It was easy to drive to and had adequate parking. The lamps were both dusty, there was mildew on the bottom of the freezer compartment. The exterior handle on the door to the room did not function well. It would fall to a position as if it was open and would not open until I lifted it up about 120 degrees and then tried again. There was hair stuck on the bench used for the handicapped restroom. The carpet, bedding, sink, toilet, and tub looked clean.

It was great. Clean rooms but short on wash rags. I dont know but thats what she told us. But a great place to stay all day everyday

Came to see the Diamondbacks play. This hotel was close enough to walk to Chase Field!

Wittier never stay here again. Rooms were dirty. Noise coming from street ND adjacent rooms. Dirty sheets

First, let's start with the positive. 1) Great location. Walking distance to everything you want to do Downtown, and right across the street from a Circle K for your late night munchie needs. 2) Front desk staff extremely helpful and professional. 3) Free WiFi perfectly adequate for everyday work needs. 4) Local Italian restaurant that delivers is very good. Now for the negative. 1) The room itself was uncomfortable. Even though I visited in November, which is a very pleasant time of year in Phoenix, the room itself was hot and stuffy, and neither running the AC or leaving the windows open helped. 2) The room was very small. Even though there was a work desk and an office chair, the desk was so close to the bed, the chair had to be wedged between them and you couldn't recline. You would have to move the chair to right next to the door to walk to the bathroom. 3) Shower was terrible. You could have hot water, or decent water pressure, but you could not have both. 4) One of the outlets provided on the desk lam for charging you phone/laptop, etc. was dead. I booked this room for a business trip, because I was trying to cut as many corners as possible I definitely got what I paid for.

I had some trouble fi ding the hot water in the shower and that was it. I was in town for a conference and didn't want to pay over $200 for a room. This place was perfect. With a short ride share drive, I was tigj t there. Thank you.

The pool didn't even have water in it. It should be on the website, stating the pool is not working. The room was dirty. Overall was not pleased

No frills You get what u pay for Room needs more tlc

The hotel is easy to find. It's off the 7th Street exit and a quick right down Van Buren. It will be on your right, just across the street from a gas station. I'm a low maintenance guy so all I need is a bed and a bathroom to freshen up. The price was what I payed for but I definitely believe it could have much better. I would recommend it for the basic value, but not for a high-class stay. The pros: 1. Centrally located to downtown and midtown Phoenix. Easy to find off of I-10. Phoenix is a city set up as a true grid to you can find your way to any location. 2. Cheap price compared to other hotels. It's also the off season in terms of pro sports. It's down the street from Chase Field and a number of other attractions. Free breakfast. 3. Plenty of parking. Wasn't an issue for me to find a decent space. 4. Comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge in the room which made it easy for me to keep meals for a couple of days. The cons: 1. Toilet seat was broken on one part, causing it slide easily. 2. Hot water was difficult to find with the shower knob. When I did find it, it wasn't hot at all. After a few minutes it started becoming lukewarm. 3. The free breakfast is what you get for free. Not a lot of options if you want a healthy meal. It worked for my basic needs.

The hotel staff were nice when I checked in and checked out. The area is fairly nice, though you are close to the fire station, so you hear sirens fairly often. The room was ok at first glance. Later, I was squishing a cricket crawling up the wall, finding a used fingernail file sitting on the desk chair, which was full of nail shavings. The bathroom was alright at first glance as well. Upon trying to shower however, things went downhill fast. There wasn't any truly hot water, the best I could get was warm. Then once I tried to switch to the shower, the whole piper system screamed and moaned in protest the whole time. The only way I could shower without the loud, obnoxious noises was if the water was on cold. Needless to say, it made the stay a bit less enjoyable. Then on the last night of my stay, some people roomed above me started their shower. The same noises were easily audible, but I dismissed them because it wasn't late, and I understood the problem. The people next to me however called management and blamed me for making the noise. I received a call from the manager who was fairly unpleasant. I explained it was the shower upstairs, but never received an apology. The wifi was slow and spotty at best, unavailable at worst. It's not an expensive hotel, so that's what you get.

Overall it was a great stay. There were a few times when the staff seemed bothered by the customers. But for the most part they were friendly.
