DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

No bellman at the hotel and very inconvenient for seniors guest to handle the luggage. Also no hot water during shower.

Evening front staff manager was very helpful taking as much time as we needed to meet our needs

We arrived late--very late. Our original flight was cancelled and we were rescheduled--arriving about midnight when the original flight landed at 10:30 pm. We were put into a handicapped room, and I was told that I had booked a handicapped room with Expedia. I doubt it. There is no reason for me to book a room with handicapped facilities. Expedia did not disclose the handicapped status of the room. The bed was wonderful. But the shower overflowed all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom mirror was turning black on the edges. The bathroom light was very dim, making it hard to see well enough to apply makeup. The bathroom sink was draining very very slowing. The room was cold, and we could not adjust the temperature, only cold air was produced, so we had to turn the AC off. The bathroom shower head was unadjustable as it was a hand held device. The refrigerator was very noisy, we had to unplug it in order to sleep. The hotel charged a $12 per night fee to park, which was not disclosed previously. The usual pen and paper provided in all rooms was missing. The staff was very nice and gave us a credit of the parking fee after we told them about the room's shortcomings. But would I stay there again--no I would not. thank you Dr Martin

First of all don't eat breakfast at the hotel, service is very poor, quality is fair at best, and prices are high. Go else ware to eat. If you are a smoker they don't want you, I was told by one of the valets not to smoke in front of the hotel since they didn't want any of their customers see someone smoke.

The staff was great but the hotel itself was dirty. My room looked like it had been used right before I was in there. Tissue in the toilet that was not flushed and used. Hair all over the floor, shower was dirty and looked like mold on the side of the shower. Lastly, we had to pay for breakfast; which would not be a big deal if we weren't already spending so much to stay overnight.

Quick two-night trip to Orlando was made better by experience at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good room (though bathroom is a bit small). Loved how close by the airport is.

Great bar and breakfast...nice room with balcony...close to restaurants and airport

Me encanto muy limpio buena atencion todos muy amable.

Very nice hotel! Close to shops, restaurants and Florida mall. I rush they had coffee in the lobby and a complimentary breakfast..but I like the 12 checkout. Silly me couldn't figure out how to unlock the sliding door and the sent someone in minutes to assist me.

I only stayed one night but the hotel was perfect for my stay. It's a nice hotel and conveniently located to the airport, stores, and restaurants. Staff was so nice!!!

Older hotel but in great shape , excellent staff and restaurant bar facilities

My friends and I were heading to orlando for a birthday celebration and the weekend didn't disappoint. From check in to check out the hotel staff was super helpful and accommodating. All of the front desk staff gave us dinner suggestions and places that we absolutely had to visit. Definitely coming back!

We started out badly when they failed to pick me up at the airport and kept telling me they were coming. After 50 minutes and three phone calls I gave up and took a cab. After that the service was fine. In the morning there was a lot of staff around and they seemed like they were helpful. The restaurant and hallways just seemed tired looking. Bed was comfortable and the morning shuttle was just fine.

Great place to stay, friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, lovely swimming pool, easy access to restaurant and the bar. Having a conference all day and have a place to relax with your love ones is great.

Location was good only few minutes to airport, room was clean but for the price just average. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Picked this location to be near Orlando, Airport for one night, but would not book for any length of time

First room was not good but they moved me to a nicer one. WiFi worked great, nice breakfast and room service. I would probably stay there again. They also have a gym, swimming pool area and a business area if you need to print out a boarding pass. They need to replace the toner in the printer.

We should have realized when we checked in and was told that even though the booking had a park and fly on it they would not honor it, so it cost us an extra 30 dollars so that we could leave the car there for 5 days rather than look for another lot to leave it in. The room had chipped paint and over all a very un-kept appearance. The bed was supposed to be enhanced to give you the best night sleep around - another lie. There were no luggage racks to take your own bags to your room, and after waiting 30 minutes I decided to walk, carrying all the bags, including my 84 year old mothers. When I went to get into bed I was totally grossed out since there was BLOOD droplets on the comforter on the end that would have been near my face, and the other side was full of dirt. I am sorry but when you pay $169 a night plus taxes etc you expect more than bloody linen. Pass it by go elsewhere!

Every time again. We had a great service and the room was very clean. No complains.

The staff was very professional and very helpful! The hotel itself is just up the road from the airport and there are plenty of places to eat right in the vicinity.

Decent stay during short stay enroute to visit family
