The location of this hotel and the friendliness of the staff are great. The condition of the property, furnishings, lighting, decor etc… however, are not great.

How are the waves dirty rundown

The room was dirty especially the bathroom .The toilet seat was broke,The walls in the bathroom had blood stains. Overall the room was very unfit to stay in

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They certainly did the best they could with what they’ve got. The exterior of building is well maintained, but the interior is long past it’s prime. The carpets are worn, stained, and smell. The windows are of the cheapest quality and thus let in a lot of street noise. The bathroom was clean yet still had a sense of moldiness and just was shabby. The Studio 6 did the job, but just barely. Within walking distance, one can find a number of good restaurants.

Obviously an older run down property the chain acquired and did nothing to improve. The location is convenient to the World Cruise Terminal, but that's about all it has going for it.

Staff friendly. No continental breakfast, no coffeemakers in room. Soda machine clean and good selection. Detritus in hallway. Room windows did not shut properly. A lot of traffic noise. Killed a cockroach in the bathroom.

Room had a significant water leak from the ceiling; likely from the air conditioner in the above unit. Based on the stains (size and discoloration) this leak has been present for a quite a while without repair. Had to use provided towels to prevent water leak from spreading across the floor.

Hallways and elevator had old musty smell..stairways we're dirty with dead mouse in one...room had no table lamps and no carpet .floor was sticky.

Breakfast restuarant was good. Hotel needs lots of work to make it more appealing. Carpets and bathroom needs serious upgradi g

The staff was freindly, professional and courteous. The property does need some updating. My stay was pleasant, a short walk to downtown restuarants. i will stay there again.

The staff was angry and uncaring , with a general feeling of not feeling welcomed that they had so many guests that one more person was a bother

Jacuzzi was nice, open until 9pm, no real shade until late afternoon. Easy hassle-free parking. Great location, walkable to downtown restaurants, USS Iowa, cruise ship terminals, Ports o Call village restaurants, Crowne Plaza. One of the better neighborhoods of San Pedro. Breakfast half-decent- oatmeal, bagels, sometimes hardboiled eggs. Hotel very dated, desperately needs a renovation- some paint would be a good start. Good water pressure in shower. North-facing rooms have nice view of Vincent Thomas Bridge and cruise ship terminals. Diner next door has affordable breakfast specials. No HDMI on TV. Friendly staff.
