All was great at hotel. Two improvements would make it first rate: 1- common areas need updating. Hallway carpet is worn. 2- breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Edible, but not good. I would pay more for better breakfast.

It was a room with a horrible view- two giant box fans blocking any view or light- but I still give the hotel 5 stars. Good people, attentive and deliver the level of stay they promise.

This is the second time in my 63 years that I have posted a complaint, but her I go…..I was given a handicapped room so the bathroom was enormous for wheelchair access, but the heat didn’t work in the room so showering didn’t heat the bathroom up enough to be comfortable. The heat didn’t work the first night at all so I wore a sweater to bed. The channel changer batteries were dead so I couldn’t watch tv that night. Maintenance came to fix the heat and changer the next day so I was warm and could watch tv, but when I tried to turn the heat down from 85 where the maintenance set it so I could sleep without sweating, it cycled on and off every two minutes. So the second and third nights I turned it off completely and put a sweater on to sleep. I should have asked to be moved, but didn’t want to keep bothering the staff. We often stay at Hyatt hotels because we count on them to be nice. I’ve stayed at this hotel before since our daughter lives in Glendale, but even though the staff was very friendly, I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

Room was nice, staff was great. The only thing I did not like which was parking cost $100 for 2 nights. I wish I read the small print before booking. Once valet takes your car it is hard to retrieve items. Otherwise everything was great.

Pros: spacious room, quiet hotel, very convenient location, friendly staff, complementary coffee and tea. Cons: valet parking is very expensive and we got charged one extra day when we only parked for one day! The carpet and the sofa in our room were stained in several places. Poor upkeep in spite of good housekeeping.
