Everything is excellent and I have very good rate. I would like to book Hilton again for future stay. The only drawback is the parking. It is very hard to find and understandable due to downtown location. Thanks!
Be advised,this hotel is the worst place to stay. Ther is no way this hotel was renovated in 2016 unless it only applies to the lobby and pool area. My room was very lived in. Paint chips,dirty carpet,rips in the carpets,dirty window,extremely old towels,very rough to the skin,bath tub very dingy,old cabinets,the mini fridge did not close properly it had a lag missing. The balcony was very dirty wall to wall. You could see patch work in the bathroom ceiling,lamps were not secured to anything. If you turned on the hot water it smelled like sewer fir a few minutes during the morning. The best thing about this hotel was the pool layout and the shuttle drivers. Please take this hotel off your listing. If I owned a hotel chain I’d want to be proud to stay in any room.

Night staff was rude, condescending and confrontational. He tried to double charge me $100 for “incidentals”. It was the middle eastern guy. (Only use this term because he wasn’t, wasn’t wearing a name tag). I had already paid the “incidentals” which $100 charge is obviously ridiculous) the night before. When I told him that, he was rude and basically said I was lying. Until I showed him my banking app for the $150 charge. He then didn’t say anything at all. Just rang up my drinks and ignored me. Totally unacceptable. This guy has no business being in a customer service job.
The Hilton Long Beach is a beautiful hotel and awesome staff! They offer food at the restaurant and bar which the food was great too. There’s a cafe in the lobby to purchase coffee. Nice large parking lot. The surrounding area is a great location for food , sightseeing and more! Only issue was we were given a used room when we arrived but the front desk quickly gave us a new room !

I was surprise to find how outdated the room was. The shower head was leaking all night. For how expensive the room was (I’m sure do to the location) it has nothing out of the ordinary. Not even bottled water for the coffee. There was a coffee shop inside but they where out of almost everything! Not the experience I was expecting.

If you're self parking, it's $27/day. The front desk didn't tell us how to get to the parking lot, we just had to figure it out ourselves. You have to drive around to the back of the building, almost like you're getting onto the freeway, and pull a parking ticket each time you enter. It's a bit confusing considering you also have to have the hotel parking ticket on your dash at all times. The pool only goes to 3.5 feet, there's no hot tub and if you want to use the fireplace you have to have your own lighter to ignite the gas. If you want housekeeping you have to let the front desk know the night before, they don't come and do it regularly. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly for the most part. And it's in a very convenient location, close to beaches and the Catalina Island ferrys.

Customer service needs improvement. They did not often have people picking up phones. Front Desk, Concierge, Operator...it didn't matter. Perhaps they are short staffed, but that needs to be addressed.
