I had a good experience while there but as soon as I checked out I had like 30 bed bug bites all over my body. Ended up at urgent care and they said that's most likely where I got them. I don't know if they are under staffed or what the issue is . I reported it to them at crown plaza but they just ignored me and said it wasn' t from there. I' m 100percent it was from there!

Many issues

Great location in an up and coming community where people say hello to each other on the street and respect one another

Dirty room. All ice machines were broken. Rooms very filthy and need updating. Small gift shop was closed most of the time. Parking was not explained and was a pain. 1 elevator was broken. The only positive thing was the friendliness of the staff.

The Hotel was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. My only concern was the pool. At the time of our stay, we are still in a pandemic. Staff was not ensuring the social distancing for pool rules. (which I understand is hard to do due to uncooperating folks) The other thing is, that there was a group of people smoking cigarettes, marijuana, and drinking alcohol around children. Overall we only enjoyed about 15 minutes and then decided to leave due to lack of staff enforcement of safety. While the rest of our stay was okay, this really made me not want to come back to this hotel.

The parking lot was odd because it was mixed with a rental car place. The rooms were not nasty, but did not suit the crown plaza name. Bathrooms were old and the shower only had a sprayer not a shower head. The bed was soft Systems were down when I checked in and the next day and it took over an hour to check in

Dear Anthony, I was just made aware of your concerns pertaining to your recent stay at the Crowne Plaza LA Harbor Hotel. Let me first say that I am very disappointed and extremely sorry for what you experienced during your stay. I can assure you that the lack of customer service and decorum is not an acceptable situation, and we are very concerned that it has happened. Our staff should have handled things more diligently and with greater concern. We are aggressive in our preventative measures and have rooms consistently inspected at a considerable cost. Our housekeepers and room inspectors are trained to look for anything that may give us a sign of their presence and we have a professional pest control company who can come and check the rooms for any evidence of the culprits on a regular basis or on demand. Unfortunately, upon our inspection of your particular room, we found no immediate evidence of any infestation yet that’s not saying this didn’t happen as well. We are having our professional vendor come in and we will contact you when their findings are submitted. Although I am unclear as to which night of your stay you believe this was to have happened, our expectation is that this gets brought to our attention upon departure, so we are able to have this addressed expeditiously before renting the room to another guest as well as to offer a remedy for your hardship. It is here where we need to improve. As you may know these little friends are brought it by people and are a major problem in the US and in hotels across the country. We have in the past prided ourselves on dealing with these matters effectively and immediately. Should you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at your convenience.
