The hotel is located in a great area to visit south bay beaches and shopping. It could use a better cleaning staff as one could tell cleaning was hit and miss, like an old pair of socks between the sofa and wall. the rooms are very large and comfortable but the remote for the tv was very confusing and would not with from cable to tv operation.

Your ref 7274002254633 Not happy with Orbitz Arrived at 11.30 To find that you had not booked my room and had to pay $196.23 I had paid $147.60 to Orbitz I was just lucky they had a room or I would not have had anywhere to sleep. So I have learned to be very careful booking anything around the week 4th July in USA

Hot water in shower only warm. Spoke to desk but nothing ever done about it.

Dirty and infested with ants! I'm fighting for a refund right now. I mean ants everywhere in the beds the carpets! I even opened my luggage once I got home from staying here and found ants. So dis satisfied!

My son had an orientation at USC (13 miles away) but we wanted to be near the beach. I appreciated the free, clean, safe and easily accessible underground parking. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and after a long day of walking around campus, the hot tub felt good. There is also a good breakfast and free newspaper in the morning. The hotel is walking distance to several fast food and sit down restaurants as well as a Target store. The beach was less than a mile away. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and her boyfriend checked in late like 11pm, ringing the front desk doorbell for 10 minutes. Got in their room, no towels. Ring the bell again, no answer. There should be an awake front desk person.

I was skeptical at first but when I walked into my room I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite large and very clean. Only bad thing was my TV did not work. Other than that it was great and the lady up front was super nice.

As it may have it's perks to its local it should be maintained a bit more. The ac vent in room 218 had a very weird smell to it thank goodness I carry Lysol just sprayed directly in vent and problem solved. The pool and hot tub was a nice extra perk. The motors in the hot tub worked as long as you switched it on this too should be replaced as the hot tub seems out dated.

Let me start off by saying the staff was nice. We stayed two nights and my husband woke up the last morning with bites all over his arm, legs and back. He noticed there were spiders living on the bathroom ceiling. Naturally we thought he had spider bites. After a trip to the doctor we were told they were bed bug bites. I was horrified to hear that and very lucky none came home with us. Needless to say we will never stay there again.

Good room for our stay. We enjoyed it there and would definitely recommend it.

It was fine. In past experiences it has been difficult to find someone at the front desk. Not this time around.

Hotel has undergone some remodelling over the past year Its fresher than it used to be.The standard of work is not the best but its passable. With the price and the location you can't really do better. Its a fifteen minute walk to Manhattan Beach with all its bars and restaurants.Breakfast is pretty basic but does the job.Would stay again

Close to beach but not the nicest. The price was good but would have spent more to stay in better. Probably would not stay here again.

Great staff , great value close to beach and easy access to LAX

No person available for check-in; had to wait for more than 10 minutes.

No frills, convenient location, clean room, comfortable bed- Staff let me check in early (huge help), free shuttle to LAX-

Remodel not complete. Should not rent out until done. Ants! TV did not work. Bathroom door did not work. Old coffee pot. Lights in ceiling too bright---should also have low-light lamps available next to bed. Colors of rug, walls horrible combination. No bedspread. No "curb" appeal! Shoddy work.

The hotel was a few blocks away from the beach. Parking was not an issue, beds in hotel were not the best but still gave enough comfort. Room was very spacious. Large pool with child safety gate was a plus. Small hot tub but worked great. Ice machine wasn't always working. There was only one washer and dryer and it took forever to dry laundry.

We got a very spacious 1 bed room, 3 queen beds for our family of 5. Nice hotel staffs. Good location consideribg you have car, within minutes to get to beach, shopping, highway. Hotel have laundry facility.

It would have been nice to have been told the work was being carried out on the pool. The first morning I was woken at 7.30 by the sound of drilling and hammering.I asked if I could be moved, but was told that their was no other rooms. The girls at reception were sympathetic but said they would get the manager to speak to me,maybe about discount for tolerating the noise.Needless to say the manager never contacted me.I have stayed here on many ocasions but this will be the last. Thanks for ruining my quiet vacation

Hello, Thank you for staying with us. I do apologize about the shower water not being hot enough. We will work with our engineering team to see what could be done in the future reguarding the water temperature for the hotel. Thank you again.
