.We had been staying at the Beverly Hills Hilton for many years. Time to switch. First of all, prices are more gentle here. Rooms here are updated to a smart configuration Hilton needs some refreshing. We are Hilton Gold and Marriott Gold. The breakfast at the Hilton had been going down for years. Breakfast at the Marriott was good. No extra charge for hot items. Staff is very friendly and we enjoyed walking to the cafes and Brooklyn Bagels . When you come from the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia I imagine you would not feel especially comfortable in one of the most Orthodox Jewish communities in LA.
the hotel it self is ok, the room were space and path room with god design . the hotel quite expensive if we will compare it to the location. nothing around you can see or attractions ypu would like to walk to. you have to get taxi to go to any place.
I stayed here over Emmys weekend and had a wonderful stay. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Our room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was updated and spa like. Great location too. Would visit again.
Super smooth and comfortable stay. The service was impeccable, from the valet to the front desk to the room service. Wine available in the lobby. Wifi and computers available. Clean, quiet, and nevet had to wait gor anything. I would definitely go again.
A newly renovated, very clean, well located business hotel just outside the high end areas of Beverly Hills. The rooms are bright, clean, freshly renovated as well as perfectly designed for the business traveler to work efficiently. There was always a smiling doorman to greet the guest on a daily, regular basis. The cost of the room was surprisingly reasonable. Only criticism was that the exercise room lacked cycles/bikes. They simply didn't have any to utilize during a workout which wasn't ideal. The breakfast area for the elite travelers was in the lobby and well suited for a quick breakfast. I would return for sure.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we were happy. The hotel (summer-2017) has been renovated and looks good, especially the floors and rooms (4.5-Star Hotel). We had breakfast there once and i would like to say it is from the better (if not best) breakfasts at a 4-star. The hotel was clean, location was great (you are about 5-10 minutes from anywhere in Beverly Hills / West Hollywood. However, note, if you are looking to spent a lot of time in the hotel, this is not a resort and the immediate area surrounding the hotel is OK. For example, the pool and hotel property are small accommodating comfortably around 45 people max at a time. In my opinion this is a luxury hotel for a visit Beverly Hills, but with plans to be outside the hotel most of the visit.
The hotel has had a recent (last two years maybe) renovation. Lots of slick modern surfaces etc... The rooms are very very small. Two tiny drawers, no closet just two rods sticking out of the wall. The bed (king) was comfortable but the sheets were not high quality which was surprising. LA was experiencing a heat wave (95 degrees) and the rooms were not able to cool down even with the A/C set to 63 for three days. We had to have a box fan put in our rooms so we could sleep. The staff was very pleasant but seemed to think that a warm room should not be a big deal. I'm used to heat, I'm from Texas and the rom was HOT. The lobby was quite chilly but hallways and rooms stuffy and hot. I would imagine that during normal LA weather the cooling system would be fine. The bar was well run and a nice place to have a drink with family. The Club Lounge was okay. Filled with children from opening in the morning to about 10 a.m. (when food is no longer served). We would not stay at this Marriott again.
We booked a room for our son's orientation at UCLA. Upon arrival we were greeted by the valet and bellman. Both very nice and helpful. The front dest agent was great as well. Very helpful. The room was good size. Very clean and a nice size and clean bathroom too. The grounds were nice. The bartenders were excellent. Valet parking is easy and quick. The employees at this hotel may be the most courteous and attentive employees at a hotel I have come across. If I had any complaint at all is the double beds are little small. I would stay here again.
I've stayed a handful of times at the Beverly Hills Marriott for work, which corporate rates are a great value here. The Beverly Hills is a slight misnomer. Yes, it's in BV, but a small walking distance to the world famous shops. While this hotel feels new compared to other Marriotts, I will say the hotel experience is a bit lackluster. It doesn't feel like Beverly Hills, nor really LA. I can't put my finger on why, but in comparing it to The Standard or the boutique hotels around it, it impresses with simplicity rather than luxury. In what the building lacks in personality, the staff makes up with fun towel-animals to greet you when you enter your room or the charming albeit talkative valet team--who are consistently some of the best valets in the city, if not better than any other Marriott I've ever visited. The room service menu has expanded over the years, but the club lounge is a bit dark and dull. It would be nice to have an actual bartender in the lounge during happy hours to talk up and greet guests. The coffee machine is a bit blah, and the free breakfast tastes like it was wheeled over from the Residence Inn across the street. The pool is in an odd place--out front on the ground floor. Wish there was one on the roof...or even an outdoor rooftop lounge...imagine the views from there! Or, if code won't allow them. Perhaps converting couple of the rooms on the top floor and make that a lounge with a view--donned up with Hollywood regalia, anyone? The bar in the lobby has great bartenders...when they're there...they disappear frequently...as does the front desk. The chat app is inconsistent with contacting guest services...and I've been put on hold frequently or bottlenecked in a long line at the front desk. Feels understaffed. However, these are all minor when compared with the little details that truly matter--a clean room with a fantastically comfy bed, hassle-free parking (although pricey), and friendly smiles from the staff. For the price, this is one of the best hotels you can stay at in Los Angeles without breaking the bank. It's no Shudders on the Beach, but it's near a lot and a lot less snooty.
Stayed here for 6 nights on a work trip. The room was very unique -with custom built in couches under the windows and interesting lamps throughout. The bed side lamps were very bright and could use a dimmer -but I think they're LED and may be hard to dim. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and was kept clean, the AC could've been a bit cooler but did the trick. There was no closet -but some bars -like you might find in a retail boutique to hang your cloths on -it worked but I wondered a closet might've provided a space for my suitcases and shoes. The staff was amazing. I used the lounge daily and got to know the faces that worked breakfast. The valet parking (there is NO SELF PARKING) was very quick at retrieving the car and the guys were pleasant to deal with. I especially looked forward to seeing Ezekiel in the morning and sometimes if I was done early enough, in the afternoon. He was very charismatic and seemed very happy to be there. On my last day he told me about a good restaurant in Redondo Beach. Redondo is not around the corner but my job took me towards LAX that day and so afterwards I made it over to old Tony's at Redondo and he was right -it was a great spot. The location of the property puts it in walking distance to many restaurants on Beverly Dr. -north of Olympic, that have great food & cocktails (Honor Bar - Urth Caffe), I also was able to walk down to Culver city, one morning before I adjusted to West Coast time -while it was 2.5 miles, I did find a great bakery (Grand Casino Bakery) and had coffee and an excellent chocolate croissant. In everything I needed or wanted -if I asked the staff, I got a competent answer. As a frequent Marriott customer -this property does a great job of representing the brand! I would definitely stay here again.
