Ok for one night! It's close to everything, shops, restaurants major streets. The staff gave us a larger suite which it was great due to the Hotel feels a bit crowded. The dinner was better than the breakfast...will stay again for the location only.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beverly hills Marriott last weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located in a very nice area. It’s modern and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff is very friendly. We were greeted with a glass of champagne. The bar man, Carl, makes a great martini. I had forgotten to bring by Marriott Visa card and had to put it on a different credit card. I was able to carmike in accounting on Monday and a Mike very kindly reversed the original charge and put it on my Marriott card. Very nice service.
We had a great night here on our way home from a week in Palm Springs. Valet guys are terriffic. Registration/Check-in was quick & friendly. It's not the easiest configuration to find the elevators but once you do it the first time then it's fine. We noticed the bar was lively and mostly full at cocktail hour (this was a Monday night). Rooms have all been re-done in California modern decor. Not everyone's taste but it works here. Bathroom was well-stocked with toiletries and fresh towels and spotlessly clean. Great water pressure. Super quiet location that is also convenient. Overall A+++
It is painful to have to write this review because the employees at this hotel are wonderful. The problem is that there seems to be a problem with management and oversight. I had two reserved rooms, and one wasn't ready until after 6pm upon check in. I have never waited so long for a room to be ready. The view of the available room was of a wall of a neighboring building. It was very claustrophobic. As a gold Marriott Awards member, I expected a little better. Our rooms were not attended to one night and we had to call the front desk to clean up. The breakfast buffet was limited and set up in such a tight spot, people were bumping into each other trying to get food. A truly ridiculous situation. The front desk needs help. The valet guys are terrific- friendly and so helpful. We checked out a day early because it became unbearable.
One thing I hate is when I walk into a hotel room (and I stay in them a lot) and see creased sheets. This is exactly what I saw when I entered my room at the Marriott Beverly Hills. The room was modern with loads of electric plugs. Would have been nice to have had glasses to drink from rather than plastic. Nice toiletries, good tv stations, lovely couch to sit on too. The toilet flush is situated under a shelf and I broke a nail immediately. Grrrrrr The hotel is also just a short walk from some lovely cafes and shops and not far at all from Rodeo Drive - if that's your taste. Staff were friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was acceptable.
Keeping this short and sweet... The service was excellent. The room and linens were up to Marriott's high standards. And the location of the property made it easy to get pretty much wherever we needed to get to! What made this stay extra special? The hotel management management and staff. Friendly, curteous and eager to go that extra step to make our stay memorable. We can't say enough about the Beverly Hills Marriott and its team!
Another delightful stay at the Beverly Hills Marriott - not only do we look forward to the nice firm (not bouncy) beds and great housekeeping staff, but we always look forward to be being greeted by the friendly staff. We're first greeted by the excellent valet team with props going out to Ezekial (EZ) and Eduardo - - so helpful, so friendly. On this visit we had a streamlined check-in thanks to James at the front desk. He was super helpful and eager to make sure we were happy with our stay. Concierge lounge is excellent - - breakfast is so good that even though I don't eat breakfast I always try their eggs and bacon. Excellent view of the city and a great location. We stopped staying at the JW downtown because we like this hotel so much better. A+
We checked in as a family since my cousins came from Boston. We enjoyed the room and despite the rain we enjoyed the sight seeing around Beverly Hills area, West LA and Santa Monica. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I was so impressed with this Marriott which is an affordable price compared to many hotels in the Beverly Hills area. From the moment I walked in the lobby I was taken away by the clean modern decor and friendly staff. My room was really impressive - modern clean and everything looked new. I particularly loved the chaise sofa against the window which was a nice place to do my work. The restaurant has a huge space with many interesting nooks and crannies to comfortably set up a work station as well as large tables for group meetings or dining. The vibe is very chill. There is a business station and also a market area where you can purchase snacks, sandwiches, wine and other items. As for location it’s well situated to many restaurant options, walking distance to rodeo drive and an easy drive to other Beverly Hills places to go. My only complaint would be the slow elevators and thin walls (my neighbor decided to blare his tv early in the am) but I would definitely stay again. Loved it! It truly felt like a home station away from home.
We use Marriott a great deal and it is our favourite brand but this hotel did not seem sufficiently resourced. No real evening food offer and list of local restaurants given out at reception. The staff we came into contact with were doing their best but not enough of them to provide the services required. Sorry Marriott but would not return.
