We chose this hotel due to the location and rates available. We walked to the hotel from East India station, which was a fair trek with bags in the cold. I understand there is a shuttle during the daytimes this should be increased in my opinion. On check in we were asked if we’d like to upgrade to the breakfast package which we did. We were staying in non river facing rooms so the views were less than inspiring but the room was fine. One thing I did notice that the hotel was generally kept too much on the warm side for my comfort. We ate dinner in the restaurant before our show and were glad we did as the food was nice, reasonably priced and the view across the river great. After the show we had drinks in the bar and there was some entertainment laid on. A chap with a guitar singing. Breakfast in the morning was again pleasant in the sunshine looking across the river. We opted for the buffet rather than items cooked to order and that was fine. I shall stay again but would not pay top rates as I see this as more of a business hotel.
Booked for overnight stay to attend concert at the 02, view was amazing over the river.Breakfast was lovely. We did feel the bed was very firm so did slightly affect our sleep. But would love to visit again. Fabulous staff!
Really lovely hotel, staff very attentative and rooms very well thought out, all little details catered for, even a nice candy cart with sweets (donation) in hotel lobby. Scoff and Banter food and service was spot on
Lovey venue, saw Stefan at the Entrance and he was very polite and even helped me park the car that was after me spending half an hour looking for parking in the area. Excellent service. Stefan is the man
I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at this hotel, but I will certainly try! The price was incredible for the service received. It was amazing how personal the service was given the hotel was such a size. I've never had the option to select my room before, so when I did this time I was simply dazzled. I selected 628 and I wasn't at all disappointed! (I will come back to that). I also received a call from the hotel to see if I needed any help with directions and to ask about the occasion we were staying. They took note of it being my husbands birthday and his age. On our arrival day I had a text to say our room was ready for check in at 12pm, so having arrived at 12.20 we were overjoyed to check in early! The smell as you arrive to the hotel is just so calming and I felt instantly relaxed. The staff were warm and I felt welcome. The parking was wonderful. Stress free and great value. The room, I could have stayed there all day and night just admiring the views of the o2 and cable cars. It was incredible. The room itself was gorgeous and spacious too. Really good size for London. I have to say with the views being as good as they were, we didn't close the curtains once and it was lovely going off to sleep with the lights from the o2 twinkling into the room. On arrival I was a little disappointed that I didn't see any gesture for my husbands birthday, but when we returned a few hours later a gorgeous card and birthday cake were there waiting for him. I nearly cried as it was such a lovely touch. It felt so personal too. I have seen a lot of people complain about the distance to the o2, but honestly it's fine. It was an easy walk to the DLR and we even used the cable cars having admired them from the room. If I return to the o2 for an event again, this will be my choice of hotel to stay. We dined in the hotel for bar snacks, dinner and breakfast. Everything was perfect. Our dinner almost felt like a private experience as we were one of the only couples eating. The views over the o2 at night were lovely. The food itself was all really good, and I would happily return to dine here. Given we were in London, we came home feeling strangely relaxed. We didn't get to enjoy the spa, which was a shame but it's given us reason to come back again. I highly recommend the hotel, and would very happily stay again.
we stayed here recently with 4 other couples, apart from the parking, I suggest you just give them your keys and let them handle it, it was all good. We had a room on the 2nd floor and the views were amazing.. all rooms were spotless, none of us had any complaints. Special shout out to Jonathon on reception who was amazing helpful and entertaining.. could not fault this hotel and will defo be going back
I booked the Radisson as a Christmas present for my partner. Our stay was delightful. The room was immaculate and all staff were extremely helpful. Ive never before experienced a hotel that gives you a decent amount of conditioner either?! The concierge guy was fab and helped us book a taxi! We also ate at the Scoff and Banter which had Incredible service and food! Our table was right next to the view of the 02 :)
Stayed here for an overnight stay after seeing a show at the O2. We booked via bookings.com and got the best rate for a river view king. When we arrived we decided to ask for an upgrade and the penthouse was available we negotiated an extremely good rate. The room was amazing with lounge, dining area, 2 separate loos, a beautiful bathroom also with views over the river. Quite funny to sit in the roll top bath looking at the boats going by. (There were curtains of course). The bedroom also had panoramic views and a super comfy bed. The hotel was quiet, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had light bites for breakfast as we came down from our room at 11 and breakfast was finished. We expected this so wasn’t an issue (we wanted to enjoy the last moment of our luxury room) and we were grateful that they were still able to offer a service before lunch service. I would recommend this hotel to other couples visiting London for a night away. It is a lovely hotel, beautifully run, with beautiful rooms.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. The reason for the visit was because we had tickets to see Fast & Furious live at the O2 arena. When researching hotels before our trip, the Radisson Blu showed as close by. We arrived at the hotel on Friday evening and parked in the car park at the front of the hotel. There are not many spaces outside the hotel but when you check in, they take your keys and then move your car to a different car park. Parking was £18 per day. At check-in, we were offered a glass of prosecco which was a nice touch. A couple of days before arriving at the hotel, we received a phone call from the hotel to check whether we had any questions or requirements. I also received a text with instructions on how to check in prior to arrival to avoid queues. On the Friday night we ate in Scoff & Banter, a restaurant located in the hotel. The food was nice and the restaurant over looked the river. The only thing I would say was that I found the restaurant area that we were seated in a bit chilly. You can't walk from the hotel to the O2 because the arena is located on the opposite side of the river. A taxi will cost you £18 each way or you can catch the tube. We caught a train from East India station which was only a five minute walk from the hotel. We then had to change at Canning Town (one stop) and then get the tube to North Greenwich (again, one stop). The tickets were just under £10 each for a return. When you arrive at North Greenwich, you can see and walk to the O2. On the Saturday evening we wanted somewhere close to the hotel to eat. We found a pub called The Gun which was within a ten minute walk and the food was lovely (I have written a more detailed review for the pub on Trip Advisor). The bed in the hotel room was very comfy. We liked the duvet so much we are going to buy one! (Goose feather). The mini bar was very expensive, £3 for a mini box of Pringles! There was an air control temperature box in the room so you could have it as warm or as cold as you liked. Overall it was a pleasant experience at the Radisson Blu and I would return to one of their hotels in the future.
Stayed here start of January for boyfriends birthday, would definitely recommend.Lovely staff and very clean and spacious room.Views from our room were amazing and the spa was very relaxing and lovely too.
